Official teaser poster just dropped today, so I think it's time to start an all purpose discussion thread for the new season

I need to rewatch Season 11. I don’t remember anything about it Same, like, I liked it well enough but there was nothing memorable. Remember thinking the finale was meh as well. Hope they try to amp up the stories a bit this series. I like Jodie and the companions but the stories just weren't up to par. Seems like a pattern since Capaldi's series.Though, whereas his episodes were mostly overly dark crap, hers have been a bit more upbeat but unmemorable.

It seems we have a clue to when series 12 will transmit. TVNZ's rate-card has an episode listed for Thursday 2nd of January, with another episode scheduled for Friday 10th of January. TVNZ is following the same schedule it had done for the show in 2018, it transmitted episodes on a Friday after it's UK Sunday airing, so that means the show is probably staying in that time slot. This means there's a New Year Special on January 1st, and then series 12 starts proper on Sunday January 5th. www.tvnz.co.nz/content/dam/images/tvnz-sales/Ratecard/Planit%20051119%20TVNZ1%20and%20TVNZ2%20.pdf

Read the comic strip in today's Doctor Who Magazine, it's...interesting for a number of reasons
I loved seeing the floating head cameos of River, Sarah Jane, Susan, Barbara, Missy etc...only two male companions represented though, that was Ian and Jaime. I guess because they're amongst the more iconic male companions (of which there are few anyway)
The ending will only make sense if you follow the continuity of the comic strip, but the final few panels had me squealing, I get the feeling the strip's writer is a Doctor/Graham 'shipper like I am.
I had a feeling reading the entire chapter and the previous issue that something like this was going to happen, but this exceeded my expectations. No, it isn't a kiss or anything, it's just The Doctor becoming visibly shaken and upset over the true nature of a creature she's helping (the creature is her) and finding comfort in Graham's arm

So it seems the doom and gloom reports from a few months back are complete bullshit?
Good, I like 13.

So it seems the doom and gloom reports from a few months back are complete bullshit? Good, I like 13. I'm sure there was drama of some kind, just as there was last year which warranted it's own article in Starburst. This hasn't been a concise production no matter how well the BBC try to spin it. The reports are still there. Rumour mongors maintain Chibs is gone, and is only remaining in the producer role 'for show', and that Jodie will exit next year. They filmed an extra episode over the last month which is said to be for Christmas 2020 and Jodie's last.

I need to rewatch Season 11. I don’t remember anything about it There was toothguy and the big spider. Thats what I remember from S11. I want to like her as the new doctor. But the stories she had were forgettable and did nothing for me. Sadly, because I liked her in Broadchurch.

Though looking up the new writer, she hasn't done much outside of being a writer and script editor on Emmerdale.

Mirror exclusive (I'd put safe bets on this being accurate, they have a proven track record) www.mirror.co.uk/tv/tv-news/no-doctor-who-special-christmas-20917725Looks like there's no holiday special for either christmas or new year, but the series will start on January 1st, reportedly with a two parter, and will return to Saturday nights. That would mean the special they filmed towards the end of October was the Christmas special for 2020, which is heavily rumoured to be Jodie's last.
