{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Chibs shamelessly ripped off peak Moffat and RTD just to give the companions some stakes in the story...which then just gets brushed under the rug even though Lenny Henry got away at the end, so why aren't they being arrested?
At least they explained why The Master was allowed to waltz freely around in NAZI S.A.S gear, that was taking me right out of it...still, this and blowing up Gallifrey definitely pushes the big red button on the Missy redemption arc.
I wonder if he used the Moment and didn't give a s*it if it judged him?

I wonder if he used the Moment and didn't give a s*it if it judged him? {Spoiler}{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} Do we need answers right away to why The Master has reverted? I mean I would like to know but I also like a mystery that will get solved someday.
But theorising on it, I have two thoughts. Every time the Doctor regenerates his personality changes slightly (more so in old who), so why wouldn't The Masters alter? Secondly, The last time the Doctor saw Missy, Missy was leaving him to deal with a mess, she (well Simm Master) created. He never saw her change her mind and want to go back, so maybe The Doctor already thought Missy reverted back, hence why The Doctor doesn't seem to question the behaviour of the new Master. And Missy, she regenerate after being killed by herself (well also Simm Master). He (I realise know I should of used genderless pronouns as it kinda gets confusing when they change sex) was alone their friend (The Doctor) had abandon him and upon their return to Gallifrey, they learnt whatever this horrible secret is. So why wouldn't they snap and return to what they have done in most of their forms after destroying Gallifrey, and mess with The Doctor?
Oh and a quick edit, since this show is about Time Travel maybe this is somehow a Master between Simm and Missy?

{Spoiler}Even as Missy The Master's grip on their sanity was tenuous at best so can buy them going back to Gallifrey, finding out this secret and just snapping.

The dude playing The Master really veers wildly between genuinely menacing and annoyingly over-the-top.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Between tentacle porn, 13 being aroused/horrified by Graham in speedos and the kneeling to the Master last week, this series is getting a whole lot kinkier...

{Spoiler}Well the first half was shaping up to be interesting but when they pulled the double mother/It was Earth all along! twist it really went downhill. Also thanks Doctor for giving us a lecture on climate change when you could have just popped back and got Bella and her mother. You do remember the TARDIS can travel through space and time?

{Spoiler}Also if the "Dregs" breath out oxygen, wouldn't the planet have a breathable atmosphere or at least have a higher concentration than 2%? Also the scene where the "dead" planet clearly had trees in the background.

Could have had the same message with having the same episode up to that point. Yaz asks "Was that really Earth?" Doctor goes "It could be" and straight into the ending theme.

I THINK THE POINT OF THE EPISODE WAS ..... {Spoiler}never NEVER collect six coupons to go to an intergalactic spa for a nice relaxing two weeks minimum and put them in it's specially made frame without knowing they will transport you to there sure, it was classic filler material, but it was punchy and a total resell of MIDNIGHT, but it was fun

{Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW} So does this episode make all the Cassandra and New Earth stuff just a possible future?

{Spoiler}Yeah, I'm not even touching the continuity nightmare that is the "Orphan 55 is Earth" revelation.

{Spoiler}{Spoiler}Yeah, I'm not even touching the continuity nightmare that is the "Orphan 55 is Earth" revelation. {Spoiler}{SPOILER: CLICK TO SHOW}Thing is, it doesn't even have to be. Clearly there are humans here, and we know they have multiple galactic empires.
We also know that before the end of the world, humans use tech to turn it back to it's "classic" look, moving continents around so we'd have the tech to fix something like that in the future.
It doesn't have to be a "possible" Earth, it can be the same timeline we usually see. Hyphen-with-a-3's name indicates we're super far into it.
To me, I don't like the "possible future" angle as a narrative device because it kinda makes things more meaningless. They've never used that before about a whole adventure, it's always "this is the future" not "this might be the future, none of these people might even exist" etc.

Is there a specific point where we can stop using spoiler tags for these episodes? Just want clarification, because the tags just seem unnecessary after the episode has aired in both the UK and US. Oh well, just in case... {Spoiler}Yeah, I wasn't big on the whole "possible timeline" thing either. It seemed pointless outside of trying to give the Doctors heavy-handed speech at the end a little more gravitas. Earth's future in Doctor Who is weird and there are some pretty big gaps in between now and it's final destruction in the year 5 Billion. At one point during the Fourth Doctors run in the relatively near future we saw it was evacuated because of solar flares. There's no reason why the whole orphan planet/Dreg thing couldn't have happened at some point in Earth's already known history, then it gets rebuilt and forgotten about.

Vudu has the Eccleston/Tennant years, the Matt Smith years, and the Peter Capaldi years bundles on sale for 29.99 each. Includes the specials.
That seems like a pretty good deal but I could have sworn that it was 19.99 yesterday.

The Spoiler tag is usually not necessary after it airs...
It's aired in both America and Britain at this point.
I thought it was an ok episode... good enough but the speech seemed a bit much at the end... doubly so with ending with the silly jump scare-y type thing was unnecessary and took away from the point.
As for it being "a continuity nightmare" I mean... not really since Doctor Who is pretty much built around there is no continuity...
