I say let the talent sleep. Don't rush them to SDL. Give us a skeleton crew show and see what happens and we'll be fine. They don't need to immediately rush to SDL after just being in Saudi like that.

It's also at least 21 hours from Riyadh to Buffalo so even if they do get a charter flight, they're not making it at all. They're pretty much done.

Just saying, Florida to Buffalo isn't that long of a flight, get some NXT people to show up and get started on the build for Survivor Series.

Even if they made it in time, I don't think anyone wants to see badly jetlagged, exhausted wrestlers struggle through matches. Not to mention the injury risks.

That would be so hazardous. A normal company would immediately start back-up plans with the wrestlers on SD but this is the WWE. That would be so hazardous to see these wrestlers still trying to wrestle after immediately coming back. Horrible.

They’re going to be lagging worse than their 2K20 avatars.

Exactly. No one is chomping at the bit to see Corbin vs Reigns. Match isn't going to be great anyway, don't make the poor guys have to work after that kind of flight.

It’s not been a good 24 hours for wrestlers trying to fly, seems like a lot of the AEW roster got stuck in Charleston too.

An update from Meltzer's Twitter
davemeltzerWON:
Some notes since nobody can say anything. WWE had a problem in Saudi Arabia. Talent was not allowed to leave on their flight and most are still there. 20 people, 12 of which were talent, have left but the rest are still there.

Dave Meltzer says it's a 14 hour flight, and SmackDown starts in 17 hours. 12 wrestlers have managed to leave, but the rest are still there.
The six woman tag is going Broadway, folks.

OK, so 12 are on their way home... Let’s count how many worked the show...

get Undisputed Era, Finn, Sami, Kevin, Bryan, and the girls there. It'll be a good show.

Honestly, I'm actually more interested in Smackdown than I was a few hours ago, mostly because I am intrigued when WWE has its back to the wall.

Sounds like it’s going to be a real rush to the arena.
Have WWE films ever made a movie like Planes, Trains & Automobiles about wrestlers trying to get to wrestling event far away and they encounter an increasingly of seemingly shitty yet hilarious situations?
Anyhoo here is some music they can play travailing from Buffalo airport to the arena:
Sorry this is just a funny situation that WWE should have planned better for.
BTW how is the weather in Buffalo? Heard it gets quite snowy near about this time of year.
