So feelings about Becky's current character are mixed right now and while she's still my favorite, I completely get the criticisms about her booking. I just thought we'd look back on her old character, when she was at her most popular here, and share our favorite adorkable Becky moments. Emma: "I think you're a tart." Becky: "What, like a Poptart? Awesome."

Oh my god...this is just going to make me miss Dorky Becky even more, like, I get that The Man is over, but, if I was honest, last year when she first became The Man, I thought she would've been back to this goofball persona by now. I kinda wish that she was back to this. Do the WWE think that making her into an adorably goofy but still badass would be a negative? Honestly, to put my tin foil hat on, this is the perfect Becky because she shows that you don't have to change anything about yourself to be a success; like, she had to undergo an entire indentity overhaul to get to this point; it's almost like WWE's saying "Hey, young girls in the crowd? You like Becky Lynch and look up to her? Well, too bad, you have to change who you are and everything about yourself to make it in life." On a note: In an era where so many wrestlers (cough)Rollins(cough) have so much contempt for wrestling fans, it's nice to see that, for all her success, Becky still loves her fans.

The Mixed Match Challenge stuff with Sami was great. Long live the Ginger Snaps.

When Becky couldn't open the can of pinneapples.
On Ride Along with Charlotte where Becky acted like a 12 year old kid and just screamed that there was a cart of oranges and Charlotte acted like a full on mum.
It was a contract signing with, I think, Alexa and Mickie against Becky and Naomi and Alexa said something to the effect of "I made you, Becky" and Becky just said, in a genuinely confused tone. "You ain't my mum!"
Also, looking back, it seems like dorky Becky's promos had more of a fire to them, than The Man's promos.

I’m fond of her and Charlotte’s various dorky 2017 house show promos, and their 2017 Survivor Series post-show promo where they bring up their ‘Undisputed Tag Champions’ idea and Becky repeatedly says in history!’

I was thinking, what could be a great thing to do is have Becky have two types of character depending on who she's facing, if she's interacting with a Dana Brooke, Ember Moon or pre-Heel Kairi Sane, she's more like The Lass Kicker because she's not no beef and no issues with them, they've done nothing wrong to her, so why is she going to be rude to them?
But, if she's facing, say, Charlotte, Nia or to a lesser extent Asuka, then she's more like The Man because she's got the most history with those three and, as a result, needs to be more serious.
I might be, and probably am, talking bollocks, but that's how I'd do things, that way, it keeps things fresh and satisfies the people who like both sides of the character.

I think that version of her character was more layered, she was a goofy dork who also had integrity, which is an interesting balance, and less monotonous than The Man. Of course, the genuine affection people had for that character also went a long way to fans not believing she’d turned heel.

Of course, the genuine affection people had for that character also went a long way to fans not believing she’d turned heel. What they could've done, is, after Becky and Charlotte had their (in my opinion) 5 star match at Evolution, maybe the next week on Smackdown, Becky comes down to the ring, demands that Charlotte comes into the ring and you think she's going to gloat, but instead she apologises for what she did, saying that the Last Woman Standing match with Charlotte made her realise why she respected Charlotte in the first place. That establishes that Becky is still this pure and intergity driven babyface who just briefly was blinded by rage, but it could also cement Charlotte as a heel by, even after this heartfelt apology, she beats down Becky in a fit of rage, not unlike how Becky beat her down at Night Of Champions. I also want to apologise for my lame fantasy booking, for all the shit I've given WWE, I'm not much better at coming up with storylines if what I wrote above was the best I could come up with.

Yeah, goofy Becky was relatable because, just because she was this TV star and top pro wrestler, didn't mean that she didn't have bad shit happen to her, like this clip posted was something that I'm sure everyone who's stood up to a bully only to get slapped down could sympathise with.

The feud with Sasha is IMO the best version of THE MAN character I guess one can say it was a prototype of THE MAN but IMO it was a better version because it was all the attitude she has now but with a vulnerability that kept her humble which she no longer has.
But Becky really has a kind of advantage atleast over the horsewomen as far as character goes where she has two defined versions of herself but I believe when she finds that balance between the two she will be even better.
Hate to do the stone cold comparison but like post invasion Austin where he was doing a whole lot more goofier shit but everyone knew not to get it confused that just because he was a bit goofier didn't mean he could not whip someones ass like it was 1998 all over again.

No joke; Invasion Austin is my favourite Austin and, as someone who didn't experience the Attitude Era first hand, I genuinely don't know why people froth at the mouth at the mere mention of it? It had Steve Austin and Kurt Angle wearing tiny cowboy hats and playing guitars and singing! How can you hate that?!

That Emma and Becky feud where Emma was sick of being overlooked could've been amazing if Emma hadn't seriously injured herself.

Also, Charlotte's quite funny when she's let off the leash of how WWE book her as a babyface, she and Becky just have this endearingly nerdy chemistry that's impossible to hate.

The more I see this thread, the more I wish we had this Becky now...and a well built women's division so Becky feels like she's got people on her level.

The worst part is that even as a heel, Becky was a dork "Milkake way out of here".
The thing I hate the most about New Back is her outfit. Before WM everything she wore was bad-ass or just playn loveable. Now it is just..eh?Too serious and one note. Bad Kill Bill knockoff is just lame
