Didn't WWE sign a 10-year deal for 2 shows per year in 2017?

Also notable that this press release says that they will be adding a second live event each year... they've done trips in 2018 and 2019, both of which have included TWO LIVE EVENTS.

Didn't WWE sign a 10-year deal for 2 shows per year in 2017? One show. The second show a year has just been paid for out of pocket and not part of the original deal.

So, is this just the Blood Money equivalent of signing Gunner to multi year deals, possibly in an attempt to get the stock price back up?

They just seem to be repeating what the deal was already understood to be (10 years, 2 live events each).
If this is their attempt at damage control, then maybe this company really is more incompetent beyond just Crazy Senile Vince than I expected.

I have never heard this. So who's paying for Crown Jewel? It was said that the Saudis were late paying for the June show with Goldberg/Undertaker.

Seems like it's just formalising what they've been doing already in practice (two shows rather than one). Very much 'we're all friends, nothing to see here', for sure. Sweepstake on who'll be the first WWE contracted wrestler to post a passive agressive tweet?

This is a nightmare hell mess and f*** this company for doubling down on these bad ideas when their roster is scared shitless. Vince only cares about lining his pockets at the expense of everyone else.
