This has the same energy as Mr. Peanutbutter going on about how his mom lives at a farm and isn't dead but midway through realizes his mom is dead.

Man, we are in for a bunch of random stupidity from wrestlers aren’t we? Before Christmas, someone like Humberto Carrillo is gonna claim grass is purple because Meltzer said it was green What if this isn't some anti-Meltzer conspiracy...what if wrestlers just happen to genuinely disagree with Meltzer? I disagree with him, it doesn't mean that it's some big conspiracy theory. Can't people just disagree with Meltzer without everyone complaining how it's some big thing that people happen to disagree with one man's opinion??

I get people wanting to get out there, but this is a losing game. An absolutely miserable no-win scenario that's going to make everybody feel bad and leave a bad taste in everyone's mouth.

You can disagree with the mans opinions all you want, I’m a long term paid subscriber and there’s lots of times I read/listen and go “The f*** you talking about Dave?” It’s the fact that contracted talent are now calling him out by name that’s ridiculous. There are a few wrestlers that are getting dangerously closing to screaming “Fake News!!!”. Can you imagine if Phil Kessel went on TV and claimed Elliot Friedman doesn’t know what he’s talking about on a report? Or Patrick Mahomes whining on Twitter that Wilbon dirted him on PTI? It’s ludicrous

I mean, there was a time when Sean Bean didn’t care about the perception of him dying in everything he was in because he was making money from it. Eventually, he did care to the point he won’t take roles where he dies now but still. My point basically is that what he thinks matters, sure, but at the end of the day, Cedric Alexander’s perception is “Guy with other guys in a vortex of not mattering at all”. This was legit interesting to hear. Never thought about people dying in movies being a biggie. Series on the other hand I can quite understand as there's always possibility of renewing 'em.. Sean: "Dead? AGAIN?!?" Filmmakers: "Just lay on the floor noooow, take it easy - quicker it's done - the less painful it's..."

Damn. The Kool-Aid up there is strong. For every PAC or Jon Moxley, there are 50 guys just happy to be there. Whatever, I guess.

All this does is further confirm that Moxbrose is the smartest person ever for having one but never using it until he did that I’m free video. It’s a no win situation for all involved

God just. Wrestling is already so f***ing exhausting right now to be a fan of, do we need the whole roster mobilized to argue with fans and journalists even more than we already do? WWE has well over two hundred people on its rosters, if even 20 of them go full Seth I don't think anyone's patience can take it.

Literally all this is doing is weaponizing the fanbase against these wrestlers too, on top of them already being against the company itself.
You could get away with this shit (no matter how ill advised it would've been to do it in the first place) when you were the only easily accessible wrestling game in town.
Stupid, stupid, stupid.

I got no problem with them talking back. Its a free country, Im sure it gets tiring after a while to hear fans complain and give them negative feedback while going overboard. Maybe some of these superstars arent drinking the Kool-Aid but get tired of fans not getting called put for boorish tweets and journalists getting inaccurate information and running with it. I understand why the fans would be upset, but I understand the wrestlers perspectives

Like, I don't blame wrestlers for lashing out at fans because, let's be real, wrestling fans can be f***ing dicks and, if they're being dicks, they should be treated like they're dicks. They shouldn't be treated with respect if they don't give respect.

I mean, that Rusev thing is a stupid f***ing clapback and I don't know how on earth you can justify it. It's not vicious at all and entirely aimed at the writing and Rusev still decided to be a dick declaring the guy's opinion has no meaning.

It's not vicious at all and entirely aimed at the writing and Rusev still decided to be a dick declaring the guy's opinion has no meaning. But the guy's opinion doesn't have any meaning at the end of the day which was Rusev's point. You mean they should take this random guy's opinion over all of the fans in the audience who were cheering Rusev, booing Lana and booing Lashley since this angle kicked off? Even though when the ratings breakdowns came out and out of most of the stuff on Raw this Rusev angle actually gained viewers?
At the end of the day it's more than one guy's opinion that matters. People can dislike the angle but when WON broke the ratings down, this angle, for as much as people online say they hate it, is actually gaining viewers compared to other stuff and no, I'm not talking about Youtube views, I'm talking about what WON said.
It's another example of how one thing that people might dislike doesn't really translate to everyone else.

I don't think any worker, artist, musician, actor, athlete, whatever, I don't think they all need to "shut up and dribble" when it comes to people's opinion towards what they do. This goes across the board in any profession and just because they're wrestlers doesn't mean they're excluded by any means. Fans just can't say what they want and the wrestlers just take it no matter what because it's their job. If fans can say what they want then it's the same for the wrestlers. That's that type of entitled fan/customer mentality that nobody who works in anything respect.

There’s a saying my family used to say in Spanish that basically equates to “if you like the taste of poop: eat it”. Being antagonistic and defensive is only going to alienate but hey, maybe WWE is dying to work everyone to be seen as a bad guy to improve the wrestling business? I dunno.
