I watch pretty much all their shows, but aside from the Wrestlemania ones they don't usually get threads here.
I know there aren't enough of us here to have an individual thread for each event, but are there enough of us to have like a official GCW thread or something?

We're talking about Game Changer and not Georgia Championship, right?

I love what GCW is doing as a promotion overall and especially with their specialty shows, which all feel unique and entertaining as different shows hitting a specific style or niche and knocking it out of the park. One of the most exciting promotions on the independent scene right now, and I'd say probably taking the role of the next CZW, where a lot of guys are going to just be deathmatch lifers never really going far, but there's also going to be a great crop of the next generation getting their big start there.

Yeah Im a massive fan of GCW. I do miss that old Gamechange World building but its fun to watch a homegrown fed grow into a massive indy. And it keeps pumping out unknowns and turning them inti stars. Theyre doing it currently with Effy and Alex Zayne. And they also have one of the most over guys in the indys: Nick Gage

They always have a great live show, I try to make it to the ones they have in Asbury Park when I can.

I like their special shows. The regulars have been a bit hit or miss with me, but some guys who have been featured there like Kyle The Beast deserve more love than they get and Alex Zayne do deserve more love

I think GCW is great. Atmosphere is always fun, as close to 90s ECW as it’s going to get. They’ve had many breakout stars, with definitely more to come in the future. As great as Nick Gage is, I’d like to see the championship change hands to someone else very soon, so it could be taken more seriously, this whole storyline with RSP is the most serious I’ve seen the title get taken since I got into GCW.

Went there when it was Jersey Championship Wrestling and was the usual legends/local stars combos other indies here were. Liked it that way, as they're quick and easy ways to meet famous wrestlers and get to know the talented local ones.
The previous owner, Ricky Otazu, had an attitude though. And Danny Demanto, who had prickish tendencies towards my friends and I, becoming his successor didn't help. As it was Joey Janela's playground too, and he too was pricky....

Same here. I've been following pretty much every GCW show since Mania weekend, and it always just seems like a given that Nick Gage is going to retain. Don't get me wrong, I like the guy and he's a good champ, but it's starting to feel like time for a title change. I agree about liking that there is actually a storyline surrounding the title now though. Btw, did you know there are actually GCW tag belts? I didn't learn this until they did their shows in Japan a couple months ago. Apparently they are on a couple of dudes from Mexico that can't work the states, so they have all their title defenses in other countries in other promotions. It's weird.

I think they go a little far with their death matches sometimes but I generally think they're a fun promotion. The event I went to the night before All Out was really good.

Honestly they didnt see the visa issues becoming a thing. Without getting too political, ever since a talking cheeto sits in the White House, getting visas has been a pain. Also did you guys know that PCO holds their version of mid card title?

Also did you guys know that PCO holds their version of mid card title? Ok, even with the visa issues, there are ways to get the titles off them if they really wanted to. Strip them, ask another promotion to book the title change. PCO still holding a mid card title (another I didn’t know about, which is weird because I was at Lost in NY and he didn’t come out with a title) even though he’s signed to ROH shows the championships situations are more mismanagement than a visa problem. They’re a great promotion that book great matches with amazing talent, but they need to get the title situations fixed to establish stars/characters. Oh, and Matthew Justice should absolutely have a mid card title if they have one.

As I said, I've been watching since last Mania weekend, and I had absolutely no idea they even had a mid card title, let alone that PCO was champ. The only PCO GCW match I've seen is the one where he faced Walter. I would absolutely love it if PCO was in GCW regularly.

PCO had a great match with Masato Tanaka where they let him walk away with the extreme title. PCO said he'll return. Allegedly the vias issues for those the tag champs should be done soon. And I think eith the rotating talent of the indies is why Danny and Brett are hesitant in booking outside talent to win belts. But they produce killer matches so I have no complaints

Awesome promotion. I’ve been to all of their Los Angeles shows and will continue to do so. Such an awesome atmosphere.
