I’m kicking myself for skipping it this week. I would have lost my absolute shit if I saw it live.

I can't say this is the role I would have expected for him to make a return, but he does talk on this show, which might be enough.

Wasnt the original report that in this role he would be a Fox employee and not WWE?

Absolutely brilliant move on WWE’s part. Now we need a gif of Cody doing his ear thing and someone gives him a wet willy. That about sums it up.

Punk having an unscripted take on WWE's absolute shit storylines right now is gonna be enoguh for people to want to tune in immediately to see what he says because he's not gonna hold anything back.
But really what made this special for me was him coming out while Joe was there. Joe's like been one of his best friends for years, if he didn't know it probably made him very emotional.

Sounds like he won't be full time, the tweet announcing it says he'll appear "periodically".

I mean, even the people there now aren't exactly sugar-coating things. I only read a follow-up report of Backstage (I was busy playing Crash Team Racing), and it really appears that Booker, Paige and Joe weren't exactly giving glowing reviews of the Rusev/Lana/Lashley thing. It was only Renee who was trying to be diplomatic.

So it is pretty crazy to see him and Joe on screen together in 2019.

Man now I'm kinda bummed his return is on this show and not like in an arena. I daydreamed about that pop and he returned at 11pm on a talkshow that got 49,000 viewers last week. He could still come back someday if he ever wrestled again but...it already happened on a talkshow...

I hope we don't get our hype up and he just has every filter imaginable on next week. I hope he fully voices every thought in his head.
Otherwise, what's the point?

What is gonna make this so fun is now the absoloute contrast of Punk on this show
and WWE with their fluff pieces like Corey Graves podcast
I do wonder though with them saying he will be on periodically if this is a situation where he got to choose when to show up for when certain people on the show come on...like a Daniel Bryan for instance Punk would want to be on the show when he is there and if they brought in someone like a Corey Graves Punk be like....aw hell naw ima stay home with the wife on that one lol

Eh ,whatever. Cant wait to hear how he only speaks wonders about WWE in there.
Punk lost a lot of his cool anti corporate persona

Renee's probably gonna try and be that way even though she's been a bit spiteful on commentary when she's been on recently cause Booker won't hold anything back, and Joe and Paige don't give a shit and really... never have

So what you're saying is that CM Punk now works for Cleatus the Robot, right?
