In October, we heard that the leader of Suzuki-Gun was not happy with his position in New Japan, and wanted to leave. Which leads me to ask: Where to next?
The most logical answer would be NOAH. They've been on the ups over the past couple of years, and Suzuki would help bring more name recognition to its resurgence. That said, if it were me, I'd break out the Khan bank account and sign him to AEW. Getting Suzuki would be a big boon to AEW as a possible global power, instead of just a domestic one.

Really? Thought report he was close to retirement First I've heard of that. Every report I've heard says he's just unhappy and wants a change of scenery. And I find it very hard to think he's close to retriement. He still has so much to offer as a talent. Even at this age.

I recall hearing that he and NJPW made up. Not that I guess it precludes him from working other places, much of SUZUKI-Gun are not signed to exclusive contracts, that's their shtick, though I imagine he still would be respectful of NJPW on where he'd work if they made peace.

Problem is that there isn't much left for him to do in New Japan. Basically, yeah. He wants to fight Moxley and Jericho, but he could do that elsewhere. Short of passing the torch to probably Sabre or Taichi, there's not a lot else he can do. Maybe tag with one of them to mix it up in heavyweight tag to try to deal with how desolate that division is, but that's about it.

I haven't seen a Suzuki vs. Moxley match yet and that needs to happen. If Suzuki really does leave New Japan, I'd love to see him go to AEW for just that purpose. He could just be there for that one match and leave and it'd be worth it.
Also I'd mark the f*** out for hearing "Kaze Ni Nare" at an AEW show.

I doubt he would sign with AEW,he is an old man ,I doubt he would want to travel there. I also dont think NJPW will let him slip away so easily

The connection to Nosawa would make me think NOAH if he leans particularly in any one direction. I like his matchups a lot better there now and he'd fit in way better than that...last run. Otherwise just pure freelancer.

I'm guessing NXT Japan as a trainer.

US tour so I can check "Kaze Ni Nare" off my wrestling bucket list without paying for a flight to Japan.

A Moxley/Suzuki match sounds pretty good in theory, granted Suzuki's had underwhelming "dream matches" in recent years, especially with Shibata. It's strange because he can be really good at times still, loved his recent feud with Liger and I felt his match with Goto at Wrestle Kingdom 12 was the best on the card.
As far as what's left for him in New Japan, I still want one more singles match with Nagata. Then, if he is leaving New Japan, I would love to see a fired up Taichi face him for control of Suzuki-gun to send him into the sunset.
