I really don't. He's short, he can wrestle and is he the son of c-list actor Pauly Shore of "Encino Man" fame?
Can anyone tell me why I should care for Marko Stunt? If Le Champion doesn't, should I?

Dude's got a good personality and knows how to work. He gets some of the best heel heat for heels in the company in the way he gets his ass kicked and has some incredibly unique offense especially when used in a team
Not much needs to be gotten, he's incredibly unique

I’m not much of a fan of the guy, fair play to him and all, but he’s one of those dudes that’s just fun to watch get wrecked.

He's a short guy with a fun personality and he takes a beating.
Not really much mystery.

I'm kinda with you on this. Lucha and Jungle Boy as a team are fine, but Stunt just throws their act off kilter and makes it silly. If he was just there to get wrecked that would be fine, but we've seen actual pro wrestlers selling for a runt and it's not in the least bit believable.

It's PRO WRESTLING. Why are we looking for believability? Anyone can wrestle if they're smart enough and Stunt wrestles smart and is used smart by his team, it's not that hard. By this logic nobody should have given a shit for Spike Dudley either, but he was one of the most over guys in wrestling at one point. Nobody should ever care about underdogs because "It's not believable". Wrestling is about a story, there isn't a story better to tell than david vs goliath, that's what Stunt brings and that's why he's over. As for the act, Stunt is basically Jungle Boys best friend and another "child" Luchasaurus has to look after, I like the dynamic, it's fun, nothing is thrown off by it.

Seriously I'm gonna be stuck on that "IT'S NOT BELIEVABLE" shit cause it drives me nuts. Pro Wrestling is a world where monsters, cults, demons, animal people, even a man who uses his dick as a legit weapon exist, and are things people accept in droves and have accepted since the 80s in a high regard. But Marko Stunt is where people draw the line? Sincerely give me a break. If you don't like him as wrestler or performer, fine whatever, but don't try and tell me Marko Stunt isn't believable when he's on a team with a DINOSAUR.

He's a reverse hoss. Anyone he wrestles is Hoss For The Night. He wrestles Christopher Daniels or Pentagon, Jr. the same way each of them would wrestle Giant Bernard or Kane, and it allows for a different view of wrestlers that are usually playing a set role.

I don't know what move Stunt has done that would be all that unrealistic. I've watched every match he's had in AEW, and everything that's been sold by an opponent is all projectile offense, or stuff like DDTs where he uses his momentum to compensate for his lack of size. He's not out there's doing bodyslams and Powerbombs, and he's lost every match he's had because he gets overpowered by guys that don't normally overpower people.

He literally crashes himself into people, and I'm sorry but anyone who throws their entire body at you or uses their weight in a smart way is going to get offense in on you. This is some of the most basic arts of self defense for people to take down others that are much larger than they are. Size does not mean shit in a fight, and Marko getting offense in shouldn't be a dealbreaker.

He is doing literally everything that he can be doing to address most of the criticism against him. I feel like a lot of people who don't like him would only be satisfied by him never wrestling, ever, at all, because he is already wrestling in a manner congruent with said common criticisms.

He's the crash test dummy that you use to make guys you want to build up look good. Meant to bounce around the ring and off of guys like he was a gnat before eventually being crushed and jobbed out. That's about it... But he totally should have never kicked out of the pentagon driver.

We have had wrestlers legitimately sell for a Blow Up Doll before, and a Giant Inflatable Panda. We treat mist like it's a real magical thing, we've seen wrestlers use hypnosis as a legit means of control in matches by legendary wrestlers mind you in some regards. Wrestlers dying and coming back to life is a legit thing several wrestlers have done to further a story. But nah dawg Marko Stunt, that ruins the believability of wrestling

Yeah but everyone has, that's been used as a setup more than the finisher, which has been the Package Piledriver Made Marko look tough as hell though and that's kinda what you need to do, show he can take a lot of punishment for the beatings he takes

He sells great, and his offense gets around his size by relying on speed, launching himself or being launched, or stuff like ranas and drags to the opponent.
Like, if he was trying to box people, the size argument would make more sense to me, but he and Riho don't really rely on strikes, outside of like stomps.

I still don't care for him much, but other people seem to like him so eh. Might wanna ditch the Rugrats imagery in case Nickelodeon catches on and threatens legal action, though. Cartoon Network is a sibling network to TNT and has already done promotional crossover via the Rick and Morty deal, maybe something further can be done there to replace it?

There are reasons combat sports have weight divisions. However, this is rasslin and we go with the narrative of the size of the heart and the fighting spirit and all that hoopla. Plus all the small guy has to do is keep your shoulders down for 3 seconds and he has many ways of getting to that end result. He doesn't need to kick ass just get a lucky pin That being said I don't like Marko, so him getting beat is enjoyment for me
