I don’t know why, but I’ve always wanted to find Prince Iaukea’s them from his brief time as “The Artist”. I know it’s a Purple Rain rip off but I’ve never been able to find a full or clean version. www.youtube.com/watch?v=L6ohBvJIQXEI'm not embedding this because even though it's not used on WWE Network due to being so similar to PR, Jimmy Hart's WCW music was one of the assets WWE got as part of the sale in 2001.

I wonder if anybody has Booker T's theme from that stupid angle involving the letter T. During that storyline, he was no longer allowed to use the Harlem Heat theme. So he was given a theme that sounded like some 1980s power ballad song. It almost sounded like "Faithfully" from Journey.

Hart and his writing partner JJ Maguire had managed to own the compositions and tracks since WCW wasn't worried about keeping the rights to them. That's why his bootleg nWo video game theme was used for Hogan and the instrumental version of the Wolfpac theme was used for Hall/Nash/Waltman in TNA. WCW's lack of interest in owning their own music is also why WWE had to eventually cut a check to Michael Hayes' writing partner Jimmy Papa to own the rights to the "Badstreet USA" and Slam Jam album themes they created. That's why WWE had to dub over that music for a little while and created a new soundalike theme song for Hayes for a video game. youtu.be/tCLfLaWgQHYUnlike Papa, Hart and Maguire never pressed the issue legally. After WWE settled with Papa, they also went to Hart and Maguire to buy their original WCW music outright as well.

In the Nitro book that came out a few years ago, Howard Helm said WCW owned the publishing rights to the music he and Jimmy Hart composed for them. It was reported when WWE bought WCW that WWE got those rights (127 tracks in total). WWE has used Hart/Helm music since 2001 as Shawn Stasiak and Kidman had their WCW themes during the Invasion angle. The Slam Jam tracks are credited on the BMI website to a Turner publishing label, though that info is now out of date.

Not a theme, but there's a piece of background music that plays during Goldust' pre-debut vignettes that is haunting and beautiful. Have never been able to find it and I wonder if it's something that was produced in-house or taken from some library

I know the other you speak of and I think it was online but seems to be gone. It had the sirens at the beginning right? If it helps, it was used on one of the early Wayne's World trailers.

WCW The Patriots/WCW Special Forces theme. I used to have it but it hasn't been online for years. I'd love that one. Big Daddy Dink had it too.

My holy grail of classic theme music is the multiple bumper songs used on both Prime Time and the syndicated shows when going to break.

Did Luna ever actually use the theme they have her on WWF Raw for the SNES?

I can't find the 1989 Royal Rumble theme anywhere. Only with Vince talking over it.
Also, Shelton Benjamin's purple haze theme when he was transferred over to RAW in 2004.

I have two from TNA: Christopher Daniels' first solo theme before switching to the Disposable Teens knockoff was a Stinkfist knockoff, and here's the actual best quality I've seen it online: www.youtube.com/watch?v=vi24H2BT-40There's also Chris Sabin's theme he used in late 2007 ("Hail Sabin V2"), where every copy online is badly looped and missing half of the song we actually heard: www.youtube.com/watch?v=LTdifiByvOk

I'm looking for Macho Man's WWF version of Pomp and Circumstance. Having no luck. Does anyone know if WWE ever released it and on what collection? I looked it up one day, and his specific version was public domain, I believe. Need to remember which composition he used.
