Discussion over best Tales from the Crypt episodes has given me the idea to run a special tournament to determine FAN's most favorite Tales From The Crypt episode of them all. Rules: - Any episode is eligible, the movies however are NOT eligible - For the nomination period, each person here can nominate up to 8 episodes per post. They'll all get in with 1 nomination vote, and there's no limit to how many episodes can get in. Just want to make sure all the episodes that FAN wants in get in, and then they'll fight it out in the tournament. - I MAY want the total number of episodes to be a nice even one for the sake of an even tournament structure (16, 32, 64, something like that) - In this thread will be all the voting (To the semifinals as the final will be on a poll). I'll randomize the list of episodes, you vote for one winner, winning episode moves on, etc., until there's one episode that wins the entire tournament. And with that, Begin the Nomination stage!

We got 48 episodes nominated, now that the nomination stage has ended, because of that, the first round will have triple threat matches. Three episodes each match, everyone votes for one of the three, only one wins and moves on.
I'm going to randomize the episodes and begin the tournament in earnest tonight!

The terror tales have all been randomized, IT'S NOW TIME FOR THE VOTING TO BEGIN, cue the cryptkeeper laughing! First to 3 or whatever episode is leading after a certain amount of time has passed moves on
Top Billing A struggling actor (Jon Lovitz) kills off his competition (Bruce Boxleitner) in order to secure a part in a strange production of Hamlet, problem is, the role he gets is not what he wants to play. VS Oil's Well That Ends Well A con artist (Lou Diamond Phillips) and his girlfriend (Priscilla Presley) plan their next caper by tricking some Southern boys into thinking there is oil underneath a cemetery. VS Abra Cadaver A doctor (Tony Goldwyn) who plays too many pranks soon finds out that revenge can be a harrowing event when his brother (Beau Bridges) (also a doctor) makes him the guinea pig of a new serum that mimics death.
