Not being as close to these types of things is one huge downside of moving away from Chicago to Lansing MI.
Still doable to travel to Chicago or Detroit for big things, but takes a lot more effort.

And to add to the announcement about Colorado, the week after Dynamite heads to Salt Lake City, Utah in the Maverick Center with tickets also on sale this Friday.

These are two that are outside the main city again - the Denver area show is in Broomfield, and the SLC area show is in West Valley City.

Matt Jackson also hinted on Instagram that they're looking at the Toyota Arena in Ontario, CA for a future event. Something of a homecoming for the Bucks since they're from the Inland Empire.

Once they touch base in SoCal, they'll be forced to stay here. Mainly because of the climate, but also because Young Bucks are synonymous with the area.

3/18 in Rochester, NY. Strangely enough, there’s a wrestler who is a Rochester native whose no-compete clause will have lapsed by then.

That's right. AEW is about to run into a... Otis' dad? I remember reading back in the 90's that Roadblock is part of the Laurinaitis family. Anyone know if that's true? I just found out last week on JR's podcast that there was another Laurinaitis brother that wrestled briefly as part of the Wrecking Crew tag team in WCW in 93.

Rochester is a weird choice, but considering that NYC, Albany, Buffalo, and Syracuse are such strongholds for WWE, it kinda makes sense. Plus, like people have said, a certain local wrestler would bring in a lot of people.

So here's something weird, I went looking for tickets to the March 25th taping in Newark, and there's a listing on Ticketmaster for an AEW show in Newark on Dec 31, 2023. Did they announce anything about that, or is that there as a mistake or possibly a placeholder?

Not quite as close to either city as Newark is to NYC where it's just a quick train ride away, but it's sort of right in the middle via I-90 and its offshoots.
