Nice bullshit no-call on that pass interference on the second to last play

I'm bewildered that anyone would pick the Patriots to win the Super Bowl after yesterday. First off, Brady has never even gone to the Super Bowl without a bye week. Second, this team just to the Dolphins (!) with the #2 seed on the line yesterday. Does this seem like a team ready for a playoff run? Given that the Pats would have to likely go to KC and also to Baltimore to get to the Super Bowl and I just don't see it.
Also, why so much Seahawks love? The Seahawks are really not any good, a lucky team that won about 3 games more than they had any business winning this year given the lame +7 differential. The Rams didn't even make the playoffs but I'd say L.A. is really the better team. In fact I would pick Philly to win next week so that people can whine about the 9-7 team having home field.

As long as Belichick's around, the Patriots are the permanent pick right up until the day someone knocks them off. Then they're the pick again next year.

Even as a Pats fan, I can't envision them winning the SB this year. They're just not very good. They ain't going into Kansas City or Baltimore and winning, they might just get upset by the Tennessee Titans this Saturday. This feels like shades of the '09 team that looked pretty good, only to play Wild Card round versus the Ravens who ended the game almost immediately by going up 21-0 before you could blink. The Seahawks I think are pretty good. Russell Wilson is legit, and they do have talent around him. They might have had a chance at the SB if they had gotten a top 2 seed, but at #5 I think it will be too much to climb. They might be upset in WC round as well.

Agree with this one. Titans seem to be the kind of team to beat the Pats this year, especially the way Derrick Henry's been running. Tannehill's playing out of his mind, and you have the "AJ Brown grew up a Patriots fan" storyline too.
