12. Impact Point - I watched this on Crackle, and before I get into my take, I must say that it was the longest hour and a half because of damn internet connection and ads (Which don't bother me), so I had to watch the rest of it on my computer. Anyway, this was kind of an entertaining B flick. It had the production values of a TV movie, and while the girls were hot (especially Melissa Keller and Kayla Ewell), especially when they wore bikinis, I would have to say that I found Brian Austin Green's performance as a psychopathic stalker to be entertaining. Not saying that he did a great performance, but more that he hammed it up in his performance. Plus, I liked the volleyball sequences (Like I said before, I am a fan), and no, it wasn't just for the hot women wearing so little. I found myself laughing when Brian Austin Green was trying to act all sinister and creepy. Then again, I guess I have a thing for "bad" movies. Crackle has some decent stuff on it's service. But wow the amount of ads is horrible. 11.River of Darkness Echo Bridge The Dead Walk DVD 10 film set I had seen this years and years ago. Was having a movie night with my father and an uncle. Had put some dvds on the table they chose this cause Kurt Angle is the lead. He is a law officer that is after some killer ghosts. Ghosts which are played by Psycho Sid Vicious and Kevin Nash. Then for our human villian we get Glacier. Yea this sucks but it is a fun watch for how bad it is. 12.Die Hard 2 Die Harder DVD from the Die Hard Trilogy set Based on a unrelated novel this first of the now many Die Hard sequels is not that bad. Sure it gets crapped on sometimes. But I rather watch this than Die Hard with a Vegenace. THis DVD also has one of the most annoying main menus I have seen. IT is a short loop with a very annoying series of sounds.

13.Battle Queen 2020 Streamed off Tubi TV After the recent falsely reported death of Julie Strain I was wanting to see one of her films. This was made in the early 2000s. A comet hits the Earth and triggers a new Ice Age. Lots of stuff shot indoors to avoid having to deal with the snow and ice. And what is outside appears to be shot in a national forest. In this future the Elite control everything. They live above ground and ration out the food and water for the others that live in cold bunkers underground. The Elite steals the children of the underground. Using the males in the Army and the females as new members of the Elite's stable of mistresses. Ok yea this is a cheaply made combo of post apocolyptic science fiction,a subgenre I LOVE,and Skinamax After Dark Soft Core porn. I bought this on VHS back in late 2003/early 2004 when every video store started clearing out any non-blockbuster mainstream VHS on the shelf at a buck. The cover is what caught my eye. Unless you are a die hard post apocolyptic and/or Julie Strain fan this movie can be skipped.

14.Trailer Park Shark Watched on DVD Found this last year at a thrift for a buck. Saw the title and the cast has not only Tara Reid but also Mr Belding himself Dennis Haskins. Made in 2017,and also known as Shark Shock, this prime piece of animals run amok mixed with Sharkploitation was directed by Griff Furst. Who also directed some modern classic Sharkploitation films like Atomic Shark,Ghost Shark and Swamp Shark. The Soggey Meadows Trailer Park gets flooded. Sharks invade and the resident of the trailer park try to survive while trapped on the roofs of their homes. Pretty sure this debuted on SyFy channel. And it looks and feels like it's budget is at the level of the stuff NuImage and The Asylum make for SyFy. Tara Reid has a fairly short cameo. But at least you get a ok amount of screen time outta Dennis Haskins. This has me tempted to see if I own/have access to enough Sharkploitation films to do an entire month of them.

I watched Malabimba (1979) last night. The Severin Films release is probably the new crown jewel of my DVD collection as it’s out of print and I’ve seen it selling for well above $40 some places.
It’s actually a pretty fun movie too. It’s an Italian rip off of The Exorcist only with much, much more sex. There is featurette included on the DVD and back in the day it was one of those films that played at some regular theaters as well as the porn theaters. Most of the porn ones inserted hardcore footage into the film though this was not shot by the original crew. Mariangela Giordano who plays the sexy nun in the movie described it as saying she saw shameful things.
The movie follows Bimba who lives a very sheltered life in an Italian castle where the family had lived for 15 generations. Her father says the family will have to sell the castle unless he marries the wife of his dying brother who is the only one with any money in the family. Early in the film Bimba gets possessed by Lucrezia, who was a black sheep of the family years ago who either killed herself or was killed by one of her many scorned lovers (for some reason this is only explained in a deleted scene).
There is then plenty of scenes of Bimba acting inappropriate just like the Exorcist, but much more sleazy. She grabs a servant’s wang at a family dinner, strips naked at a party before calling all the guests pigs, and oh yeah blows her uncle to death. You read that right.
As this is happening Bimba’s father and aunt in law get into many sexy situations. Her aunt in law also randomly gets banged by a hanger on of her dying husband. Less sexily, Bimba’s primary caretaker is a nun who determines that Bimba’s soul is sick. She says that the house is a sinful place but she will make it her top priority for Bimba to get well.
Lucrezia through the body of Bimba starts to come on to the nun and it is revealed that Bimba isn’t Lucrezia’s main objective at all, it is the nun. And the only way Lucrezia can take control of the nun is through lesbian sex.
It’s an insane movie. Highly, highly recommended.

Andrew Garfield turns in a very good performance and the mystery of the plot keeps you engaged throughout. Sadly, the rest of the characters lack depth and it feels like its trying too hard to be weird at times. [***]

9: Ad Astra - Loved the visuals, was bored to death by the story.
10: Ready or Not - This was a really fun movie.
11. Little Woman (2019) - Maybe I'm just uncultured swine, but this bored the shit out of me.
12. Bombshell - It was just okay.
13. Richard Jewell - Growing up close to Atlanta, this really interested me. It's a shame how this man was treated.
14. Leaving Las Vegas - Never watched this until recently. I didn't really care for it, but Nicholas Cage was awesome as always.

I got a bootleg that appears to be ripped from a laserdisc release. 14.UHF Watched the old MGM DVD I have loved this movie since I first saw it almost 30 years ago. UHF is not only one of my favorite comedies but one of my favorite films. Kinda surprised after how much of a cult hit it has become over the past few decades Weird Al hasn't gotten the money together to get a sequel made. There is so many bits in here that I refer to or use in daily conversation. Stuff like "DONT YOU KNOW THE DEWEY DECIMAL SYSTEM!" or "Today we are gonna teach poodles how to fly." And it is neat to see a young Michael Richards showing how talented he was.

Just watched Velocipastor About a priest who gains the power to turn into a dinosaur. Teams up with a hooker to fight crime, and ninjas. Had promise in the first 20 minutes when the priest/dinosaur saved the hooker from a mugger, but it really lost steam midway. Almost redeemed by the dinosaur vs ninjas finale but not quite. Too goofy and intentionally bad to be a “so bad it’s good” movie. But it has some charm for running with a premise based entirely on an auto correct error. (According to the director) 4/10. Worse ways to spend an hour.

13. Bad Boys For Life - I will post an actual review soon, once I post it on a movie blog that I am putting together. Anyway, this movie was definitely better than the first two. After so long since the second film, it definitely exceeded expectations. Martin and Will still have tremendous chemistry. It also had a great villain, who was very dark and sinister, even more than Tcheky Karyo in the first film! I might see this a second time.
I will post my review when my site goes live and will also post in the Bad Boys 3 thread.

15.Zombieland Watched off Netflix
Been a long time since I watched this. Not a bad comedy. Even if Jesse annoys the hell out of me.
16.Scary Movie Watched off Netflix
Saw this once when it came out and hated it. Was looking for another horror/comedy to watch after Zombieland. On this viewing I found the movie to be pretty funny.

An ambitious film that mostly delivers. There are big set pieces and a great blend of action and comedy. Most of the acting is good and the visuals rule. It just needed to end on a better note. [****]

17.American Pie Book of Love
Watched on DVD
Months ago I bought a pack of all 8 American Pie movies. So sat down to watch the last of the DTV AP movies.
The cast is pretty much unknowns,But they did manage to get the actress that played Caroline on 2 Broke Girls,I think this was filmed not long before that show started. And Bug Hall, best known for playing Alfalfa in the Lil Rascals movie.
What happens is a fire is started in the East Great Falls library. ANd while cleaning it up Bug Hall finds the Book of Love from the first AP movie. Him and his friends try to recreate the BOok of Love, since lots of it was ruined by water. And this is used to bring all kinds of celebs for cameos. Eugene Levy returns,he is the only person in all 8 of the AP films. And we learn that Eugene created the book of love.
Overall this is one of the better DTV American Pie films. What is odd is every other of the DTV AP films would make sure to have one of Stiffler's cousins in it. In this one there is no Stifflers. And besides Eugene Levy and the Book of Love there is no real connections to the other films in the franchise.

The performances by Ronan and Robbie are really good, though I feel like the pacing was a problem and held this back. Still good stuff though. [***]
