Pump the breaks on this one for now The Wife says it aint true These tweets are always made when a leak or an announcement happens that was not from the company or wrestler themselves. Basically blowing smoke until he actually shows up. Maybe he was supposed to be a surprise for Revolution, but it doesn't matter, people are excited regardless, even more so now, because Cage is a great wrestler. Ah, the lost art of kayfabe.

Wrestlers themselves are the worst at keeping secrets lol I said it when Morrison denied returing to WWE that you can always count on the fact that when a wrestler or someone really close to them makes the effort to publicly come out to deny a rumor they could easily just avoid then it is 100% true every single time.

So that rvd squash makes sense
AEW hiring big boys and i want to see dude vs omega
Hell of a signing
I honestly hope aew does get a guy like Elgin, cobb, and Shane Taylor too.
I mean i have reached the point where now big boys are in short supply and we gave too many vanilla midgets

Taya Valkyrie wrote the same thing when PWInsider reported that John Morrison signed with WWE, and lo and behold, he showed up a few months later. Guessing a similar situation here.

I wish I still had the Cody ear gif in reverse, so I could post: “Drug testing?” and then the gif here. It'll be really awkward if we find out that Cage isn't on the roids.

For as long as i've been reading misconceptions of steroids, it still always takes me back a little.
Not only is brian cage on steroids, he's on alot of steroids lol. He's playing on big boy doses, pro bodybuilder kind of doses. He's not about to get clean to join AEW, he'd lose his biggest selling point.
People don't fail WWE tests because testosterone is easily, legally prescribed by doctors. All you literally need to do is say you feel low in energy and/or can't get it up to a doctor and you wish to pursue the route of TRT. WWE doesn't fail people on TRT under their wellness policy. It's as simple as that guys.
Now Brian Cage has openly advocated steroid use, as long as he's doing that the wwe won't touch him for that reason.
To the topics point, i'm looking forward to seeing what he can do on the roster and i'm curious how they bring him in. I hope it's more in depth than huge flippy guy. I haven't seen much of his work, can the dude work a stick?

I haven't seen much of his work, can the dude work a stick? His promos on Lucha Underground were pretty decent. Like, he leaned on his catchphrase of "I'm not a man, I'm a machine" a lot, but they also played that for laughs by having Dario cut him off with, "Yeah, we know!" Still, he doesn't have a goofy voice or stumble over his words, so it was perfectly fine.

I would like to see him come in as a face. They already have Hager and Wardlow as heels. I think we need more than Luchasaurus in the hoss face area.

Yeah, I think he'd be a better face, at least for the short term, though if he is indeed injured, I guess it'd depend on when he was ready to go again as to where he'd best fit in.

If true, shame he left before we got Cage/Elgin III.

Torn bicep tendon recovery time: Even mild injuries can take at least two months to heal. It often takes four to five months before you can start returning to normal activities. After surgery, you'll probably need to wear a sling or otherwise immobilize your arm such as in a splint or cast for four to six weeks. (1st thing while googling) / ...so, that leaves a small chance still for Revolution run-in, maybe? If this is true at all.

It’s nice to know AEW finally has someone other than Hager that can have a surprise debut on Dynamite and have more than five people know who he is.

This is awesome news for AEW, but shitty news for Impact. I feel like Impact is starting to get a paper thin roster again.
