I think the recent denials are kayfabe and we'll see him soon, perhaps tomorrow night even.

Ryan Taylor appeared in wXw last year as Rust Taylor, so he's still about. From what I saw of him in PWG, he wasn't bad. Figured with some conditioning he'd have some good kicks. Any idea why the name change? I have no idea, but I could wager a guess that Ryan Taylor is just generic as shit as a name, while Rust Taylor would at least be more Google-friendly or such.

Even if Brian Cage signed, would it be because his contract on Impact was done or was he granted his release?

Guessing he was either done, or maybe got some time slashed by agreeing to put over RVD or something, because I don't think Impact have shown themselves to be exactly generous with respect to that kind of thing.

Now they need to sign Necro Butcher. Real shit I'd sign Necro Butcher as a backstage hand. He's constantly talked about as having one of the smartest minds in the business for all the crazy deathmatch shit he did. As a wrestler? He's in his mid 40's now but he's making a comeback. Hell he's fought SHLAK as an ICW show this month. An unsanctioned match with Moxley would be incredible. And after AEW signed Dr. Luther I don't think Necro can be ruled out...

Honestly I think it is case by case. They gave Santana and Ortiz a ton of respect when they left. Same with the Lucha Bros and Johnny Impact.

If AEW is testing for steroids, Marko stunt is finished. There's no way he's not gassed to the gills!!! Is it wrong that I'd like to see Marko on the gas, for real? LOL

Any idea why the name change? One of My favorite memories from going to pwg live was the cutlers vs the taylors Leading to "Let's go Ryan! Let's go Ryan!" Different cadence Then went to "KILL RYAN! kill ryan!" Simpsons quote fest chants I miss old school pwg

If he does show up I, like others, hope he is a good guy. There is just something oddly likable about this jacked up guy when its between the ropes.
Then I wonder if he will still continue to appear in the BG on Impact's Twitch stream when Melissa does the "commercial" segments... Or will she have to lock him in another room... hahahaha.

Solid get for them. Cage is damn good and a much needed visual change for the roster. He's been teasing Terminator vs Terminator with Kenny lately. I would watch this for sure!

Anyone feel that the roster is starting to risk getting bloated now? 50 males and 17 females. Yes.

Archer was a revelation in 2019 New Japan. For a guy I never really cared much of anything about previously, he became a favorite of mine during the G1.

Archer and Cage, if he is coming in are some solid big men and I would love to see them get in AEW. Plus, more Mox/Archer interaction is only a good thing.

Archer and Cage would be big additions. Would be two of the largest wrestlers they have.

If true, those two are good gets especially Archer who has had a fire lit under him since signing with New Japan.
Now since they have the spare change, sign some more women please. I guarantee you WWE’s interested in Shazza McKenzie...
