It’s weird how this went from Triple H making a stupid unnecessary joke to people making some of the wildest Triple H takes I’ve ever seen. FAN’s done it again. Did I miss the part of the thread where it devolves in to some sort of food talk?

Saying HHH was a draw because he worked with The Rock in 2000 (arguably the hottest year in the company and the launch of the biggest mainstream star wrestling will ever see) is a tad hyperbolic. Paul Orndorff was drawing big numbers with Hogan, it doesn’t mean he would have drawn on his own. He was the heel who worked with the draw. That’s what HHH was. After 2001 when business slowly started to decline and Rock/Austin faded away, it was HHH that was pushed as the top guy. I think the negative hyperbole in this thread is more reality based than the positive.
I’m trying to figure out how to end this post by relating it back to Paige somehow but I’m drawing a blank.

If you're classifying a draw as being someone at the absolute top of the company during a period of financial success, then in the WM-era that leaves you with Hogan, The Rock, Stone Cold and John Cena.
Maybe he isn't with those guys, but he's absolutely on a level with The Undertaker, HBK, Bret, Macho Man etc.

Triple H was the guy who worked with the draw. He was a very good heel but by 2003 I was sick of him. His reign of terror made me stop watching Raw for a while.
