Welcome to WCW Bash At The... sorry, it's AEW BASH AT THE BEACH, live from South Beach, Miami, Florida at the home of The U! Who's the third man? That's not a question actually being asked this time, but we'll get loads of action all the same. And remember to check the forum discussion rules listed in the AEW section of the board.
SCU need challengers for their AEW World Tag Team Titles, and those will be decided tonight in a big four way match, as the Young Bucks go up against Hangman Page and Kenny Omega, Proud N Powerful and the Best Friends. Despite simmering differences, Page and Omega have been winning matches together, including last week against Private Party, will that run continue here, or will their relationship explode? Will the Bucks get another shot against Frankie Kazarian and Scorpio Sky? Will Santana honour his late father alongside Ortiz? Or will Chuck and Trent hug their way to victory?
Jon Moxley's answer to Chris Jericho's offer to join the Inner Circle was pretty obvious, but nonetheless painful, as he rejected it and gave Le Champion the Paradigm Shift. Mox is a marked man now, and the first to come and collect is Sammy Guevara, who's got wins recently over Dustin Rhodes and Christopher Daniels. Will he claim a huge scalp in Moxley, or will he be the first Inner Circle member to fall?
MJF is still looking for an answer from Cody in regards to accepting the bold and frankly ludicrous stipulations to get a match with him at Revolution, otherwise of course he'll pull the offer and Cody will never wrestle him. In the meantime, he'll team with his goons The Butcher and The Blade against QT Marshall, Dustin Rhodes, and in his first match in several years, a man who knows a thing or two about Bash At The Beach, Diamond Dallas Page. Will the Nightmare Family shut MJF up, or will MJF prove a point to Cody?
The spinoff to the Nightmare Family, the Nightmare Collective, aren't being received well, but they don't care, as they cost Kris Statlander the AEW Women's World Title last week against Riho. Statlander seeks a measure of revenge tonight as she teams with Hikaru Shida against the Collective's Awesome Kong and Mel. But will Brandi Rhodes or JAPANESE DEATH MATCH LEGEND LUTHER get involved?
Darby Allin is looking to rebound from his loss to Cody a couple of weeks ago, and tonight he'll go one on one with The Bastard PAC. Will PAC keep the bad times coming as he seeks his rubber match with Kenny Omega, or will Allin claim what will actually be the biggest win of his AEW career so far?
All this, plus more Dark Order guff most likely, tonight from 8/7c on TNT in the States, TSN in Canada and FITE TV worldwide!
