So tonight they had Mercedes come back fresh off her signing, Kacy came back after a few months away, Shotzi got a big moment, Tegan came back as well, Shayna made her return as well
That's 4 new talents who came back to add on to an already stacked roster with Kai, Candice, Bianca, Io, Rhea, Yim etc all their

I am just imagining how much more f***ing insane it could get if rumors and theories come true.
Shayna goes to the main roster along with maybe Bianca after she loses to Rhea at Portland.
And NXT gets back Asuka and maybe Kairi as well and Toni permnaently moves over to NXT

It's stacked, but do we really need Bianca to get another title shot at a Takeover? Her and Rhea have good chemistry, you need to save Io vs Rhea for Tampa so those are your biggest stars Candice made sense from a matchup point too or Toni Storm but they will be around in NXT for a while |

The thing is none of the women really vibe like that in terms of an actual team outside of a few people but the bigger stars team every once in a while They all have strong singles personalities. In terms of teams tho Mercedes/Mia can f*** people up tho |

Yea, you don't rush your top two women in a match with only a few weeks build Add on to that, it gives Io a purpose as that was really the first time in months someone got the better of her. In theory, it will refocus her and make her more dangerous |

The NXT women's division could lose Bianca and Shayna to Raw or SD and it still wouldn't hurt them one bit, that's how much starpower it has. WWE as a whole has clearly the best female roster in the world.
The gals in japan are freaking amazing of course but WWE has that AND more talent-wise.

It is hilarious that the main roster has 2 sets of womens divison and not a single one of them can equal NXTs lol.
I would love for NXT to do a annual all womens episode just let this division blow the damn doors off.

Not a fan of Bianca winning tonight..but I also understand why she's constantly highlighted. She one of the few purely PC trained performers who can hang with the more experienced roster. They need to show people that they can create their own stars in addition to scouting the indies. Pretty sure everyone in that Battle Royale tonight originated from somewhere other than the WWE.
But yeah, what a super-stacked roster. AEW execs need to keep an eye on the NXT women's division and sign away some top names to boost their own division.

My issue really is that Bianca is in the same spot that Shayna was/is in where she's done just about all she's going to do in NXT and it's time for her to just move on. She was the one that got pinned un the 6 woman tag last week, she was in that match basically so she could eat the pin and now this week she's becoming #1 contender. There's a way to book this and I'm not convinced this is the way to do it. Maybe with time it will change, but right now, I'm just not excited for Rhea vs Bianca. |
