Right. I guess we now all have time to save up for Conor's next fight in, say, two years?
If he doesn't get himself deported beating up another old dude in a bar, that is.

Who's the dude burying Cowboy in the studio? That's freakin' funny! Sonnen and Bisping's there too!

Was rooting for Cowboy but clearly this should be it for him.
Impossible to really judge how 'back' Conor is given Cerrone is kind of washed. Khabib would likely still destroy him.
Masvidal is the money fight.

For the longest time I've not been able to stand Conor. He bought into his own bullshit and started being a heel instead of acting like one. I gotta say, he looked focused and more like the old Conor McGregor tonight, and, while I'm not going to watch the post fight, hasn't acted like a horse's ass so far. the entire leadup to the fight I have thought his been downright quiet. I was pulling for Cerrone because he's a damn warrior, but I'm ok with a focused Conor winning. We'll see what happens in the next few weeks.

Casual UFC fan who had never heard of Cowboy Cerrone ever, not once.
I looked him up assuming he was in up and coming and not a guy who’s been TKOd twice already this year who hasn’t seemed like he had any type of winning run since 2006-08.
Why was this fight supposed to be anything more than a technicality ?

Why was this fight supposed to be anything more than a technicality ? That’s crazy to me you’ve never heard of him. He fights like 4-5 times a year, has the record for the most fights inside the UFC Octagon, and while not a championship level guy (he’s the definition of a gatekeeper) he usually puts on very entertaining fights and is pretty popular.

I didn’t watched it, how bad did Cerrone looked? Idk if Cerrone looked bad or if Connor was just a man possessed.

I didn’t watched it, how bad did Cerrone looked? Honestly, he didn't look bad enough for it to be noteworthy, he just looked as he always does whenever someone outstrikes him.

So do we consider Pettis done or no. I've thought he was done since the Barboza fight TBH. It's amazing Ferreira was three years younger yet seemed so fresh whereas Pettis is 32 and shot.
