Absolutely deserves it. Dude showed that he hasn't missed a beat as the Man of Steel.

Yes please.
He is not different from Cavill. In that he needed a better writer.
/And in Routh's case, a better costume.

Cool. He's a great Superman. You could tell in Crisis that the writers had fun with him and plan to use him more, solo series or not.
Also, if you think about it, it's essentially the Christopher Reeve Superman still around.

Well, he is leaving Legends at the end of the season so this isn’t totally out of the realm of possibility. But I do think it’s a long shot considering Superman and Lois just got ordered to series.
That being said, Routh returning as Superman was absolutely one of the highlights of Crisis and I’m 100% on board with him getting to continue on in the role for awhile, even if it ends up being a mini-series or TV movie or something.

Unless it is going to be on HBO Max then I highly doubt this happens , he is leaving the CW because he is too expensive so for them to turn right around and them give him his own series on the same network with another superman show coming along side it would be......strangely right up CW's alley not the most brilliant bunch in those offices.

News breaking via YouTube video?
Oh, I don't think this is quite credible. Apologies, but I'll believe another source with text on a website before I invest any serious thought/emotion into a YT page.

Prefer that they find a way to continue with Cavill and give him a proper Superman story. By all means keep Cavill as DCEU Superman. Give Routh an alternative movie - like Into the Spiderverse exists as a fun, yet viable alternative to the MCU Spiderman movies.
