Nothing mind blowing but I had fun. That opening tag match was an absolute belter.

I'll go 7. Nothing really mindblowing but it was good throughout, had novelty behind it, and flew by.

I'm going with 10. The boat set felt really fresh and led to some different setups for matches and spots (much less tope-ing), the whole thing went by quickly with some bloody good multi-man matches that really showed off the talent at their best (even Baker not being bad), and SCU are no longer the tag champs.

I decided to give it a 9 (on a curve) due to the unique atmosphere and hot (if a bit profane) crowd.

I can’t think of a single complaint. Plus the appeal of the cruise, plus the extra lit crowd, plus PK debut, plus pool = 10.
Even Britt Baker had me laughing. BRITT. BAKER.

10 because it hit the spot when I just really needed a good night of wrestling. That, and I am such a sucker for novelty in wrestling.

It’s probably an 8, but it was just so much fun and nostalgic, and the atmosphere was so unique and awesome I’m bumping it to a well-deserved full 10

Actually, screw it, the crowd singing Judas and MJF going in the pool is making me push this to 9.

9. Not perfect but very close.
Good visuals and great crowd (as usual)
Tag title match was great and continued the growth of Hangman and will make the eventual Kenny/Page vs Bucks mean a lot.
MJF/Joey did a great job for both and helped further the Kip/Joey feud.
MJF played his part in the segment with Cody and the Bucks.
As I've said in the past, AEW isn't inventing the wheel of wrestling but they've done a good job of building a fanbase and using (so far) what worked for WCW back in the day.

Honestly, I think this one deserves a 10.
I guess if I'm being picky/technical, I could point to enough imperfections to knock it down to an 8 or 9, but the unique location and energy of the crowd made up for it. The whole show was just constant fun and had a vibe you don't get on most wrestling shows. Combined with the quality of the matches, I think it's worth making it onto the short list of shows I'd give a perfect score.

9 for me. Good show, did what it needed, plus they now have another annual Dynamite special out of the cruise.
More of this please.

9/10 for me. Just a really fun night all around with some great matches, the pool spot, and a unique atmosphere with an amazing crowd. Seeing a title change on TV was also a really nice surprise.
If they had a blonde mannequin to represent Jericho and had Moxley throw it overboard, I would've given the show a 10.

9: 8 for the show; +1 for Excalibur's "Bitchin' Camaro" reference.

Gonna give it an 8.
SCU finally lost the f***ing titles, so some life can be breathed back into the tag division again, plus the slow burn of Page vs. The Elite is being handled perfectly. I was afraid Hangman would turn here, but so glad he hasn't yet, and this makes the dissension between him and the others even better.
Britt Baker's promo surprised me, but I'm glad they're letting her go all in on being a shit heel character. At least someone in the women's division has some kind of depth. Now just gotta get the title off of Riho so that division can stop being bottlenecked like the tag one was.
The crowd singing Judas was something I've wanted for a long time, as well as the "whooaaa-ohhhhh" in Cody's song. I've wanted both of those to catch on for months, hopefully this starts it.
I'm so glad we can stop stalling with the Mox/Jericho feud now. There's been no real suspense in any of it. Of course he's not going to join The Inner Circle. Of course he's going to win the #1 contender's match, he was attacked last week. And the storyline has only been about him. It's been unnecessary and heatless filler. Either wins and losses matter, or just have #1 contender's matches to determine the top challenger. It's silly to have both so much across all divisions. But I do hope this continues as a storyline for PAC in his promo from the Road To show. I just hope they have a clear direction going into the PPV now from here on.
The boat setting was fun, the commentary was decent, and I sadly didn't get to see enough of all soaking wet MJF. Just saying.

It gets a 9, I just wasn't into Baker/Kelly. Also wished whoever was on the censor button was a little less heavyhanded with it, I get that part of the show was before the watershed but it got awfully confusing to try to follow what people were saying due to the constant audio gaps at points.

Yeah, I'm with you on the censoring. I had to mute it during the later half of the show when it happened again b/c it was just annoying hearing the silent gaps every 2 seconds.
