Marko Stunt while getting over more and more to AEW Crowds, has also been more open about the fact he is a musician. He apparently got the opportunity to play a bit on the Jericho Cruise, and according to Alvarez, Jericho announced Stunt was so impressive he will have his own live show on the Jericho Cruise Part III next year.
I've said it before and I'll say it again, Marko Stunt is an awesome success story and I'm so happy to hear him continue to get good breaks!

I’ve really, really started warming up to Marko. Still not huge on seeing him in the ring, but literally everything else he’s done lately has entertained the hell out of me

I highly recommend checking out his Talk is Jericho appearance. Jericho took such an obvious shine to him, and seemed really proud.

I did listen to it, found it very amusing that Jericho didn't even know he did a Frankensteiner into a Codebreaker let alone stopped doing it in AEW because Jericho does one. I wonder if Jericho'd talk to someone about that, because the moves and wrestlers are so fundamentally different that it seems odd that Marko can't do it. Good news is he does the same iteration of the move still, just transitions into a flatliner instead.

That was the vibe I got from when he mentioned it on the Bucks' room service show. It was sweet when Jericho talked about a big strength of AEW being the younger wrestlers, and Marko countered that they owe a lot to Jericho's feedback and guidance. I could swear Jericho sounded choked up for a moment.

I've been a fan of Marko ever since he started being a pain in the ass of Sammy Guevara in Sammy's vlogs going way back.
Dude just understands how to present himself whether it's plucky underdog or annoying twerp.

Legit question, and no I haven't done research or have any ulterior motives...but has ANY of the talent spoken ill of being a member of the AEW roster? Aside from a few members of the Elite EVPs (who are moreso addressing concerns than anything), I can't recall any particular people who aren't just living their lives and enjoying themselves in the company, while also working with the dynamics given to them of having such great access to legends with willingness both to teach and to learn. It's a refreshing take compared to the morale issues experienced in other companies...

He's gotten himself over in a way people did not expect. And AEW is doing nothing to bury him, allowing him to get over.
I just remember reading SO MUCH "I hate Marko Stunt...killing the business....hes so stupid and small..." on Twitter. I don't know if it's still out there, but I'm glad he's proved so many of those Neckbeards wrong.

I don't know if it's still out there, but I'm glad he's proved so many of those Neckbeards wrong. A lot of his wrestling still looks absolute shit. The dives and top rope moves I can buy into, JB and Lucha using him as a battering ram or physically assisting him do the moves works too. But his strikes are junk, and his near fall rollups on Jericho last night looked as believable as when you let your 6 year old nephew score a pin on you when your play wresting. Both times it looked like Chris was struggling to keep his shoulder down, rather then fighting to get them up. There getting closer, but there’s still some tweaks they need to hammer out to really make it work in the ring. There’s just certain things he shouldn’t be doing out there

It's a refreshing take compared to the morale issues experienced in other companies... Not to my knowledge, no. Doesn't hurt that guys like Sammy, when asked what their favorite part of AEW is, joked "the schedule and the money" before saying the freedom was the legit best thing. Still, it's pretty plain that for a lot of them, this is the best money they've made in wrestling so far by a huge margin. I know it let Marko buy himself a car.

Mario might have been the Cruise MVP this year. It seemed like the dude was everywhere, and his work in the non-TV matches was fun as hell, with him trying different things, from wrestling with a shot glass in his hand to working big man spots like double chokeslams.
The fact that Jericho let him close out his Fozzy set tells you what they think of his work ethic.

Considering how well they work together on Sammy's vlog show, I would love to see an eventual Tag Team of Sammy and Marko down the road.

He already has a dinosaur friend that he can ride, though not sure where Jungle Boy fits into this equation. Also don't think too long about how Yoshi's powers work with Luchasaurus, it's a weird visual.
