I hate that these live action movies make money so they keep getting churned out.
Its amazing how live action feels so much more lifeless than animated.

What happened to The Sword In The Stone? If an Disney animated classic had potential in live action it was that one.
Oh wait I just remembered recent adaptations of the King Arthur legend have bombed in theatres (the Guy Ritchie film, The Kid Who Would Be King)
So that answers my question.
Shame.

Besides Bambi's mom getting murdered, what else happens in that movie? Seriously, like...what is another famous scene or song in that movie? Is this really the best choice to get the next live action treatment? As for Pinocchio, they should make it Pinocchia, with a female cast. Really piss off the people who threw a fit about a black Ariel and other castings. It also gave us the word Twitterpated, that should be interesting to see in “live action”

that said I have a feeling they're not doing a Peter Pan one for a while do to a bunch of failed live action Peter Pans that have come out. It's being done for Disney+. Shooting starts in April.

Eventually, they'll run out of animated films to turn live-action and go on to make animated versions of their live-action films.

Is Donald Duck going to be in this? He was with the hunters that shot Bambi's mom in the original.

Nope, I'll pass on this. Love "Bambi" and find it to be a beautiful classic. I will not turn into a bawling mess with her mother being murdered. I'll avoid this and the inevitable "Fox and The Hound" like the plague.

And I must mention this of course:
(PS IF they are still thinking about an A! reboot, it can't come soon enough. The Disney jokes of the original would be amped up to 11, I'm sure.)
