I'd prefer Sasha in her position. Maybe the dude will win it back when they stop referring the belt as women's WWE championship! #walkwithelias

Lacey Evans as champ? Unless she's improved a lot on the mic (last I saw a month or two ago she hasn't) that's a hard pass from me.

She's already had 'nuff those losses. You've gotta be special one to be a great choke artist. And she has that "USA, USA, USA!" thing going and her daughter might make another appearance. That feud vs. Becky was one of the worst feuds in previous decade, though.

They are setting up Sasha at Mania for sure. Seriously who else do you want it to be Dana Brooke?
Bayley should have dropped the title to Nikki Cross. Which would have been a great underdog moment. Have Cross feud a newly turned heel Bliss. Bliss would have been serviceable in the Survivor Series Triple Threat and they could have played up on the fact of her being a “diva” and not a wrestling or some nonsense.
Then I would have added Sasha and Bayley to the TLC triple threat with Flair/Lynch and the Kabuki warriors. Since the titles can be defended on both shows.
Have Sasha and Bayley start having issues, Sasha turns face and gets her finally gets comeback win vs Bliss at the Rumble. Have Bayley win the Rumble or come damn close.
Over the months heading to Mania you see more and more of Banks true heel nature and Bayley starts learning the error of her ways. Then at Mania where you have a double turn of Banks going full heel with Bayley as the baby face under dog. I think they could pull it off.

While I could be wrong, I suspect the Sasha/Bayley hype is more their fans wanting it to happen than WWE actually hinting towards it happening. They're both heels, and there isn't really much of a hook for them to feud yet beyond 'remember Brooklyn?".

Lacey Evans is absolutely terrible and should be nowhere near a title.

Ruby Riott should win the Rumble and go after Bayley at Mania.

I think the time doesn't feel right for Bayley to lose it. That's what a friend and I had discussed. Bayley has been rather over as a heel with her violent streak and promos. I can see that she may hold onto the belt until Wrestlemania. That's what I believe, even though Lacey Evans has been rather over as a face. I think she should get a run, but at the same time, I think the creative team wants to still have Bayley be the top women's heel.

I don't really want it to happen because they're like Becky/Charlotte and KO/Sami where I just want them to stay away from each other for a long time, but I can easily see Bayley getting fed up with Sasha for constantly taking time off to focus on her music career while Bayley's left to deal with Facey. Plus there was that segment last week, after Lacey attacked Sasha, where Sasha was more than happy to not wrestle ("Good, I could use the rest") while Bayley was thrown into a match with Lacey.

Never been a Bayley fan but she's much more interesting as a bad guy.

Bayley has always been a mediocre, it just sticks out more with her as champ Exactly 💯 In ring maybe. But where she shined in NXT is exactly where the main roster has failed constantly... character work. She was one of the most over people in NXT and in the first show main evented by female talent almost entirely on her character... one that the Main Roster never understood and basically seemed to go out of their way to make completely unlikable.

I have mentioned this before but bayley losing the title needs to happen. it still annoys me that even though she's the smackdown champ when bayley and sasha are together bayley always comes off as the sidekick- despite being the champ where sasha isn't. and they even did the sasha ducking lacey so they put the "underling" bayley in lacey's path to try and prevent her from getting to the duo's "leader" sasha. which would be fine if neither had the title or sasha had it, but it's the champ playing this role. plus sasha is the one making comments about lacey's daughter and mocked her at ringside that time so there's a personal connection between lacey and sasha at this point. bayley is the "backup" but is the champ at the same time...
so my theory is lacey wins here so they can do sasha/lacey (at long last) at mania for the title. bayley comes off as the third wheel here to me since sasha came back.

Seeing how long this reign is just makes me think about more how bad seriously the whole FOX run has been. That's Shorty G levels of short end of the sticks right there, brother.

I like Lacey Evans but I am not digging this face character at all.
Talking about being a mom and giving sob stories isn’t it.
It reminds me of Nia Jax and her body positivity. It just reeks of “ugh”

If there was any truth to that Miz TV segment, Miz made a great point that Bayley played second fiddle to Sasha. Part of me believes that the Brock Lesnar/Paul Heyman line was ad-libbed, but you know what? He was right.

Lacey Evans is terrible and the wooden pivot to all American mom who served and loves her country comes across as super desperate.
Bayley is doing fine as a heel but the problem is she needs to be feuding with someone a lot better than Evans.

Since Naomi's probably going to be on SD, I could see her being Bayley's next challenger. Then again, knowing WWE, Lacey will randomly get another title shot even though she lost clean and disgraced her country.
