Amazingly accurate article. It was more of a book, and the author worked with Flair and Blassie on their books, two of my favorites. Some good AEW behind the scenes stuff.

Fantastic read. As a budding journalist, this was an example of what I would love to cover in the wrestling or other corners of geek culture. Amazingly honest and heartfelt, so much in depth detail into her life.
Really intriguing to hear she acted as the ring general during the 4-way. Shows how much she has improved from even her first appearance in AEW. As a fellow Native American, and as a wrestling fan in general, I'm a huge fan of Nyla's and really hope she gets a run as champion.

I will say it's a fitting site for an article about her.

Very well written stuff. Rose just naturally *gets* pro wrestling. It feels like shit's going down whenever she shows up on screen, she looks possessed. That's- and I don't say this lightly- a quality Randy Savage always had.

I think Nyla's my favorite woman in AEW. She just has a way of commanding my attention no one else there really does. Of course given her background I'm inclined to like her anyway but still, she has a definite star presence.

I am sort of inclined to think Shida is the one who will defeat Riho for the title, but Nyla as the one to beat Shida would be quite something.

Fantastic article, really well written for fans and non fans alike, and it's great to hear more of Nyla's story. I'm glad she's had such a great support base through her transition, and that she has the opportunity to thrive on the world stage. The world of wrestling has become such a more vibrant and inclusive place (with certain exceptions), and it's so lovely to see.

Naturally, there's been a lot of transphobia thrown at her, but it's hard not to notice it's often the same handful of people trying to stuff comment sections with it. One guy on youtube was replying to practically every comment to espouse it, probably to try to make the handful seem more numerous than they were. They're losing, they know that they're losing, and it scares the shit out of them. Good.
