Very good to see. Hoping and praying for his continued rehabilitation (which includes staying out of the DMs, Plumpy! )

God damn, I was all set to make a thread. His booking actually calls for a good rumble.
I really think he was too hard on himself for what happened. Asshole move sure, but I don't think it was "evil" or in need of "rehab"

Adam Blampied's videos on Whatculture are honestly, what got me back into wrestling. I don't condone what he did but I'm glad he got help, apparently, and took time off to deal with what happened. I'm happy to see him back.

It was shitty of him but him putting on that hair shirt and acting like he was R. Kelly was a bit ridiculous.

It's good to see him back, yeah, what he did was f***ing shitty, but it's not only been two years, but I don't think what he did is worthy of people still giving him grief for? When it happened? Sure, but I hope that people would've moved on.
Also, has Adam ever explained why he hates comedy wrestling or is he just one of these Jim Cornette types who thinks that wrestling should be super serious and any attempt to have fun is 'a disgrace to the industry' because it seems like he really loathes comedy wrestlers, so, nobody show him Orange Cassidy or Chuck Taylor.

Side Note: I'm convinced Oli does the longest line of cocaine before filming all of the videos.

Nobody ever wanted him gone. I think he blew what he did way out of proportion and because he described his actions as those of the devil, a lot of people just sort of piled on him and were like, "yeah, he's a terrible person." We all make mistakes. What separates him from the men who were exposed in the #MeToo movement, is the fact that he not only repented for his actions, he outed himself. I totally agree that what he did was wrong, but I wouldn't put him up there with Weinstein, Spacey or Enzo, just to name a few.
I was more angry at him for leaving Cultaholic in the lurch the way he did. His name and face were what the brand was selling itself on and he f***ed them over by coming out with this a week before the launch. Obviously, they recovered and are thriving, but it was a huge blow at the time.
That said, it's great to see him doing well and his fantasy booking was sorely missed on YouTube. I hope this the start of a full-time comeback (IF he wants it), but even for a one-off, dude was gold. Him embracing the 24/7 shenanigans was amazing, considering how well- documented his dislike of comedy stuff is. I would totally welcome more videos from him in the near future.

Adam Blampied runs a board game bar? God, those things are springing up all over the place; even if I've never seen any in Newcastle (or I haven't been looking hard enough) but as someone who was a huge fan of Whatculture thanks to Blampied and Blampied only, I hope that he's gotten his act together and it's at least good that he realises that what he did was totally wrong.

I thought he got me tooâd? Itâs a bit more complicated than that. He started texting a 19 year old fan, it got flirty and eventually asked her for nudes. She acquiesced, but eventually had misgivings about the whole thing since Blampied was dating someone at the time. Once outed, the internet went batshit on him and he ultimately owned up to his mistake and stepped away. That being said, I think context is important here. The girl was 19, he didnât threaten her or promise her anything, nor did he make any attempt to cover it up. So yes, he technically did get âme tooâdâ but it wasnât as black and white as victimizing a defenseless girl, as much as him being a f***boy and a shitty boyfriend. He did a bad thing but heâs not a monster or anything.
