So let’s say Cena’s main event run ended in 2013/14. Who would you say has been the biggest star in pro wrestling since? I’d say Daniel Bryan but Moxley hasn’t been too bad himself

As far as new names to emerge since Cena started winding down, it's really just the Shield trio, Bryan, and maybe Bray Wyatt, and I wouldn't say any of them have actually hit the level of being more significant draws than the WWE brand as a whole.

I don’t know if any of them have really entered the pop culture mainstream. My girlfriend has never seen a wrestling match but she knows who John Cena is because he proposed to his girlfriend at WM and has been in some movies.
She’d give me blank stares if I brought up Roman Reigns or Jon Moxley.
Bryan may be the closest, but it’s more the Yes chant that entered the mainstream for any period of time with Bryan himself less known.

Daniel Bryan is the only wrestler besides Cena that I have seen people outside of the wrestling bubble recognize the name of in the past ten years.

I guess the question is 'Who are the biggest stars in pro-wrestling?' not 'Who have people who don't like wrestling heard of?'.
In which case, I'd say the biggest stars within wrestling in that period have been AJ Styles, Brock, Bryan, all three guys from The Shield, Okada, Omega and Jericho.

Punk, Daniel Bryan, Charlotte Flair, AJ Styles, Becky Lynch, the three Shield members, the New Day, Kazuchika Okada, Brock Lesnar, Kenny Omega, Jericho, the Young Bucks, and Ronda Rousey when she's around are all major stars.
Being an "A or B-list red carpet celebrity outside the business" shouldn't be the default benchmark for being branded "a big wrestling star".
If you're a popular main eventer, you are a success in wrestling.

Oh, I also feel Cody's rapidly getting up there too.
Superstars with the visibility of Rock and Hulk Hogan are rare, hard-to-create abnormalities. Unless all the planets are aligned.

The only person who has any mainstream notability is Randy Orton thanks to the short lived mid 2010s meme. But also, no one knows who Randy Orton is.
Aside from that this question may as well be "who are popular main eventers"

Aside from that this question may as well be "who are popular main eventers" That's the point though isn't it. Millions of people will be aware of Randy Orton and Chris Jericho through memes alone, but it's completely meaningless level of fame. Aaron Donald is a major star in the NFL, despite the fact he could walk down any street in the world unrecognised. Wrestling seems to have this insecurity whereby too much importance is given to what non-fans think. Also, just to add to my earlier post, it was a horrendous oversight not to have Becky Lynch on there.
