If it doesn't have Brisco & Bischoff in it, I riot.

...will it mean Brooke in that outfit again, or does Tenay still have her shorts?

I mean..........are they wrong with that statement? Wasn't Bully Ray incredibly over? I was here at that time and it damn sure seemed like he was and the stable (with all its creative hijinx) was. Them actually saying "interesting" is itself rather interesting, as that word used like that doesn't exactly have positive connotations (as FAN can attest to).

A&E were a big deal and long term main event storyline which is something very rare today. Sure they seemed like nWo B-team because TNA couldn't afford few new proper superstars but Bully, Ken and Dvon really went the long way. Too bad they never managed to bring back original MEM to feud with them.

I wish it was Fortune that could return, if only because I know a certain someone who hates that theme song.

Aces and Eights honestly did have a pretty solid start, at least when compared to other TNA "let's book a massive heel faction that takes over the company" angles, of which there have been many.
The problem was really that by the end there was almost nobody left in the group. Anderson was out before the angle was over, I believe Gallows was gone, and maybe Knux was, as well? It meant that when you finally got to AJ's climactic blowoff with Bully Ray, it was basically Garrett Bischoff and Wes Briscoe helping Bully out, and that's not enough of a faction to feel dominant. Might've worked if the larger narrative had been "Bully's steadily losing control of his group and will get to his last stand alone, paranoid, and isolated", but instead it still felt like that match was being presented as "AJ needs to win to rid the company of this group that's still a major problem"...which, given their losses by that point, it just really wasn't.
That said, yes...it gave us the Aces and Eights funeral segment, and for that it should be at least partially fondly remembered.

Bring back heel Don West! Don't forget that selfish PRICK Mike Tenay, or maybe he's busy windmilling.

I have a feeling a lot of this is being played tongue in cheek.
Especially considering who they consider worth while members to bring in.
I mean, it is WrestleMania weekend.
