He's been doing a tour for his book As You Wish: Inconceivable Tales from the Making of The Princess Bride (HIGHLY recommend for any fan of the movie). So as part of the event, you watch the movie, and then he comes out and there's a Q&A/Storytelling session. side not: He's hilarious and does great impressions of the rest of the cast.
My wife and I bought the meet and greet VIP package. When we got to him, he shook our hands and I told him how much the movie meant to me as a kid, how my father and i always quote it to this day and that when my wife and I started dating, it was one of the first movies we watched when we hung out. He pulled me in and gave me a hug. He thanked me for telling him that, and thanked us for coming out.
He seemed absolutely thrilled to be there and took a few to talk to everyone, while seeming genuinely touched at the turnout. Hands down, he's the nicest famous person I ever met. If you have a chance to see the show, do it. If you have a chance to meet him, it's totally worth it

I'd love to meet Cary Elwes and ask him about "Princess Bride", "Liar, Liar", and "Saw". Very envious that you got to meet him.

I'd ask him why Russ Wheeler was such a needless ass to Cole Trickle.

When you went to leave, did you turn around and shout "You haven't seen the last of us!" Only to get pelted with arrows?

I got to meet Cary Elwes. By meet I mean I was in the same room as him, but I couldn't see him as there were too many people in front of me and most of them were holding their phones in the air. So I didn't so much see him as I heard him.

I'd ask him if stealing the tornado sensor designs and getting those rich corporate sponsors was worth it.

I love Cary Elwes. Just because he's totally unique. Like, no one acts quite like he does. He's got such a great, interesting presence in every movie he's in.
And he's amazing in Men in Tights. And Saw! He rules in the last Saw movie where he knows EXACTLY what kind of movie he's in so he's just a slimy weirdo every second he's on screen.

he was in that horror movie with Alicia silverstone(this was her role before Clueless I think it was called "The Crush". It's a movie that definitely leaves you feeling icky, and that's coming from someone who was of the right age to lust over Silverstone at the time without it being pedo.

The scene of him punching her ranks highly as one of those hysterical movie moments. Just, I imagine it was done that way because they knew it'd be cathartic for the audience, but it's also just absurd.

Should have yelled out "Pierre!", and see if he noticed you.
Sorry, love his appearances on Psych.

I was a teenage boy when that came out. All of my friends and I had a crush on her. We watched that movie quite a bit. I haven't seen it in years until I think this summer? It didn't sit well with me at all.

The Aerosmith videos both she starred in were the Awakening of many 90s kids (that damned motorcycle segment from "Amazing" is forever ingrained in my libido's psyche).

Crazy worked pretty damned well too, though the fact that Steven Tyler's daughter did a pole dance in his video was a bit weird. She's attractive enough that I looked past that, though, cause I really liked it.

It’s that the pole dance is intercut with him on stage and they’re doing the same dance.
