Colin, from The Animaniacs, was always telling wild stories about his unseen friend, Randy Beaman.

Milkman comes from the character Milkman Dan from the comic Red Meat. Norm comes from a bit from high school where a group of us went by "Cheers" names.

What happens when you combine Orange Cassidy and Daniel Bryan, in reference to someone photoshopping Bryan’s TLC return to make him look like Orange.

First of all, anything else I tried wasn’t working and I keep a few random screen name ideas in my head in case I need em. I read this novel sometime in middle school and loved it because of the invisibility gimmick. Coincidentally came out the same year I was born. Title always stuck with me.

Bit of an artifact title in mine, I started out as Slammasterp, but change Slam with a word pertaining to whatever series I'm obsessing over at the time, and P is the first letter of my first name.

it basically originated as a kind of troll name. started watching wrestling in 98, so my only experience with Ultimate Warrior was when he showed up in WCW, which was a huge deal at the time. fast forward to 2005 and I got "The Self-Destruction of the Ultimate Warrior" when it came out, watched it, and thought it was a little harsh. i mean the guy may not have been that great in the ring or on promos, but he didn't reaĺly deserve that. so being interested in the rest of the story I did what one normally does and looked him up on the internet, and after finding out about Warrior the person and his views on lgbt and certain religions, I really didn't feel that bad about him getting buried on the dvd.
then I came across an Ultimate Warrior fan forum, which was the most delusional wrestling site I'd ever seen at that point. just as a small taste, one of the first threads I read was a poll asking which wrestler(s) had the biggest impact on the Attitude Era, and by extension was most responsible for the WWE's success during that time. the usual suspects for the Attitude Era where there (Austin, Rock, Shawn, DX, Taker, Mankind, Vince, etc.), but leading the poll with 93% was Ultimate Warrior. why? because he "started" the Attitude Era in 1996 when he told Jerry Lawler he was going to "kick his ass". so I felt compelled to find out if these people were f***ing serious (which it turns out they were), and signed up. being a Warrior fan site, most of the usernames reflected they were fans of UW, since I wasn't i went in the opposite direction: "mcmahon" for the site's devil incarnate Vince, "fan" because "______fan" is generic, and "85" for the year I was born. then when I joined other forums I just kept the name

SmashTV is an early 90s video game where you play a contestant in a violent game show. A cartoon ‘Running Man’, if you like. When I first went online circa 2001 I wanted a retro type name and thought of amusement arcades. I was very close to using Konami, but SmashTV popped in there at the last minute and that’s what I’ve used since.
It is not, however, as someone on another forum thought, an abbreviation of Smash(ing)T(rans)Vestite. No disrespect to any transvestites out there, and if I was a transvestite then damn right I’d be smashing, but in this case it’s all about the video game.
