I knew what was going to happen with Brock being No 1 but they could of cut it short and kept guys like Lee and Strowman around till the end of the match.

I get that they were trying to get over whoever eventually eliminated Brock but oh boy did it make everyone else up till then look like the biggest chumps. Edge returning was awesome but props to the production team for missing his first spear with a pointless crowd shot. Ridiculous. Drew was the right choice to win. I can't believe they missed that first spear. Vince had to be raging. But they also missed another spear later.

Pretty much my thoughts here. "Thematically interesting but mechanically dull" is absolutely the best way of putting Brock's domination into words.

Also they've done Kofi SO DIRTY I don't care if he's been regulated to taging because of Woods injury, this was his one time to get back at Brock because he's been and sounded like a giant loser since losing as pathetically as he did and he just... continued being a loser It genuinely makes me upset and makes me wonder what the point of the world title win really was in the end for this to be the end result, it's just sad. Well, they had to push him because they've decided happy endings at Wrestlemania are a big thing, but then they had to destroy him because it violated the laws of nature for a loser like him to be treated as if he was a star.

My problem with the Brock half wasn’t that it was just Brock steamrolling everyone, it is that they also made many of them, particularly many of the credible threats to Brock look like dumbasses.
Like why the holy hell were Braun and Keith fighting each other when they knew Brock was a bigger fish to fry? If they teamed up their size and speed combo should have been enough to beat him.

I'm not angry about Roman losing. I adore the guy but I wasn't going to be upset if he lost to someone who made sense. Drew makes sense and I also like Drew and am happy that he's finally getting a chance. I'm angry about them finding a way to get Roman booed again. I'm angrier that so many good talents got squandered. I'm angrier still because it was Brock who did most of the squandering. And what makes me angriest is the fact that WWE isn't going to learn a f***ing thing from this. Triple H may be as ruthless as Vince when it comes to business but he'd be a f***ing hell of a lot better running the company. I'm going to be upset for a while, sorry. I like the way they use Roman tho They know fans are still against him in a sense and just like with Nak, eliminating him got the biggest pop imaginable for the other person They have been using Roman "right" in terms of helping others which is what he wants as well

I was watching this away from the boards with my two younger brothers, who are kind of aware with the modern stuff but aren’t as hardcore on it as me... They’re in agreement with most of you (and me) that the Lesnar stuff went too long by about... maybe six people? But they enjoyed the rest of the match from there.
They enjoyed the women’s Rumble too for what it’s worth, as they don’t really have any strong opinions on Flair one way or the other.

Tonight in particular really just felt like it was trying to beat you over the head to never care about Kofi Kingston again. He got a promo all about redemption and while he was the first to last a bit with Brock, he just got stomped the entire time and even with a couple of friends out there spamming finishers with him he still got completely murdered. He didn't even get to do his Rumble spot.

They could have cut the Brock stuff short.
It was fine for a while then it got old quick.
The rest of the rumble was good
Better than the lol Flair wins women’s match.

honestly besides the first half, it's no worse than any rumble of the 10's besides 2018. And I say that as one of many who loathed the first half of it.

I was fine with Charlotte winning because at least it wasn't Rousey or Nia but it telegraphed that Becky was winning and I'm just beyond done with Becky at this point.

I really just see Drew as 100% talentless. He's tall and has nothing else going for him whatsoever. Not wanting to argue but 100% talentless? Come on now. I just think the guy is able to make anything dull. But he has some good moves. So no,he is not Jinder

Disagree. It was fun watching Brock's rampage. He didn't take a powder like most thought he stood his ground and was a monster, and gave drew a huge rub when he got eliminated by him. The rest was good too in spite of the weird randoms at the end there

The “let’s have Brock kill everyone” portion was awful and I hated myself for watching it. Once Brock was gone, I enjoyed everything after. I have to at least put it ahead of 2014 and 2015. Yeah, the Brock part dragged WAY too long. the second half when we actually... got a rumble match basically... it was fine. Nowhere near 2015 levels of this is painful to watch.

Joe's still a bitch, also.
Is there ANY hope for him really.
Him and Cesaro are pretty much damaged goods at this point.

Besides the begining being shitty, what more would you want from a Rumble Match ?!

Honestly I think had the Brock portion not been what it was I don't think Roman gets booed as badly. WWE for a long time has had a problem of telegraphing everything very badly to the point where the audience cannot even enjoy the journey to the end.

Agree.,, for the first half.
The Edge half was fantastic, (maybe just because I was giddy like a child on Christmas morning once he was out), and Drew’s been a made man now. I liked it.

I much prefered a bruiser ass dude fighting his ass off instead of a featured guy napping on the outside and then hearing announcers gush how long he's been "in" the match. I get why most hated this but for me it was fun and the same kinda stuff I tried to do in the video games as a kid. I don't need to see this style Rumble for another ten or so years, but I appreciated the wild change of pace.
