So, did anyone else think the setup to the mist spot in the Becky/Asuka match was super telegraphed by the ref blatantly digging into his pocket before and after the pin attempt following the reverse DDT spot?
Obviously, he was retrieving the mist concoction.
Couldn’t he have had this in his hand prior to that moment, like when they were setting up the spot?
Or am I just being a pedantic ass?

I think the fact that her "missing" was done horribly bothered me more. The timing was off on that spot all around.

But him literally digging into his pocket twice while being the only person in the ring who was vertical while facing the hard camera told me "OK, mist spot is upcoming." Because, honestly, where was Asuka going to hide it on her? I just think he could have gotten it out and concealed it in his hand while they were setting up the reverse DDT spot, when people would be distracted by the action. |

Asuka had to awkwardly stand there staring at her for a second when it was so obvious she had the mist loaded up. Really cool idea for a finish, but they totally botched the timing |
