I’ll say 6. It was fun, with the women’s Rumble being a more consistent match as opposed to the men’s Rumble, which went a bit too long with the Lesnar stuff and only got really going about halfway through.

Women’s rumble was good, the men’s was on its way to becoming the worst ever but the last 15 minutes saved it.

Corbin/Reigns. Live crowd seemed to like it. Some cool things but mostly dull for me.
Women's Rumble. Really good. Fun
Bayley/Lacey. Yawn
Fiend/Bryan and Becky/Asuka. Both good to matches and were entertaining, but kind if hard to get totally invest when the winner is that predictable.
Men's Rumble. What a rollercoaster. Brock stuff was fun, but went long. After Brock things picked up and I really enjoyed it. The Edge return was fantastic. I liked the Seth stuff and Drew winning was great.
overall I'll actually go 7. The main show actually seemed well paced outside of the Bayley match and Becky/Asuka match placements imo.

6.
The Woman’s Rumble was good until the end.
The Men’s Rumble was awful until Brock got eliminated, then got very good. Obviously points for EDGE.
All the regular matches were... fine. Bayley/Lacy was bad, but the others were fine.

I’ll say 6. Enjoyed a few briefs moments in the women’s Rumble. Was bored shitless by everything else except the men’s Rumble. Enjoyed the Brock stuff immensely and they didn’t lazily book Roman to win. Plus...Edge!

6, it was a mixed bag for me. For the hell of it, I'll include preshow thoughts.
Nothing really to say about Sheamus vs. Shorty G except it sucked. I'm sure they'll probably run it again on Friday and give them a chance to make up for it, but I won't be looking forward to it.
Missed Andrade vs. Humberto because my internet went out. Sounds like I didn't miss much, which is surpising because as much as I don't like Humberto they did have an excellent match on the TLC preshow.
I was too busy listening to Pettengill and the others on Watch Along to have an opinion on Roman vs. Corbin. I just hope to God this is the end of that feud.
Women's Rumble was a lot of fun, even with Charlotte winning. I was really happy to see Bianca look dominant and I was thrilled to see the likes of Mercedes, Toni, and Tegan in it. Mandy Rose getting a pop and the elimination saves with Otis were awesome.
Following Rumble is tough for anybody and I like Lacey, but the SD Women's Title match was god awful. Somebody in the live thread asked if was worse than Toni vs. Rhea and it easily was because that match was merely disappointing while this one sucked.
The strap match started slow, but by the end I found myself enjoying it. Daniel Bryan is good at wrestling.
It wasn't the MOTY contender last year's Rumble match was, but I enjoyed Becky vs. Asuka even though everybody knew Becky was winning. Assuming this feud's over, I don't know what The Kabuki Warriors do next because they're out of fresh challengers for the titles. Already made my thoughts known about the possibility of Becky vs. Charlotte at WM.
First half of the Rumble was bullshit aside from Rey, Kofi, and Big E ganging up on Brock and Brock going at it with Keith Lee. Second half wasn't a whole lot better, but Edge's return was a nice moment. I wish Black had done more, but it looks like he's getting involved in the feud between KO/Joe and Seth's group so that's cool. A month ago I wouldn't have exactly been thrilled with the idea of McIntyre winning, but he's been starting to grow on me these last three weeks. The crowd booing the shit out of Roman like it was 2015 again was something else.

3. First show I've seen in forever and it was....utterly f***ing awful most of the time. I hope to go the rest of my life and never see Baron Corbin wrestle ever again.
Women's Rumble was the top thing of the night, dragged down by Charlotte winning when Shayna is your obvious pick to go on and face Becky.
Men's Rumble was dreadful. Only highlight for me was Edge.
Becky beat Asuka for...reasons I guess. The match was okay.
Every other match was so forgettable, I can hardly name them.

I'll give it a Bret.
Points for some unexpected returns, but some finishes just killed their respective matches and oof, that men's rumble.
Then again, I seem to be getting a LOT more critical with wrestling, even with local Indies and such.

Roman vs king corbin was a fun opener. They wrestled all over that huge stadium so that was neat. The porta potty spot would have been funnier if corbin was covered in blue but alas. And roman winning on top of the dugout was cool.
The womens rumble was fun. Bianca had a great showing, bliss cross working like a cohesive unit, otis being the knight in shining armour by saving his betrothed mandy was hilarious, beth fighting with a laceration, liv and her gear, mandy and her gear, naomi and her return. I didn't mind charlotte winning
Lacey vs bayley was whatever. Surprised bayley won. Probably shouldn't have been on here
Daniel vs the fiend had no red lighting so that gave it points immediately I hope that means we shall never see it in a match again. The match started slow but daniel does what he does best and was able to build that match into something worth investing into and it looked like he could win it a few times
Asuka vs Becky was pretty good. Those two ladies work really well together. Probably just as good as last years match. I wonder if we will get a third bout between them that would be really cool
Mens rumble was fun. I always enjoy a Brock rampage and this was great. He stayed out there and wrestled, tossing fools left and right it was great. And him putting over drew to a massive pop was tremendous. The return of edge was awesome, some weird entrants in the end was strange like dolph and the oc, riddle didn't get to do anything so that was kind of a waste, rated rko was nice to see, seth using his goons to help was funny and Drew getting the win was surprising and welcomed. The seeds of drew vs brock have been planted so now to wait and see how that develops
Overall it was a pretty, pretty good show

6. The Lesnar nonsense and Charlotte winning brought it down from an 8

1. After not watching this stuff for a while, it just seems so hokey and corny. The characters are lame as hell and everything so predictable and boring. Every awesome character they once had had been reduced to an absolute joke. Brock Lesnar is the only guy that invokes the slightest amount of interest for me. And in 2020, that's not a good thing.
Also, if the two big title matches at WrestleMania are Brock vs. Drew and Becky vs. Charlotte.... ooof.

Reigns/Corbin was fun. Women’s Rumble was mediocre and had an awful final two. Bayley/Lacey was awful and I hope to god the Lacey push is over because she’s blown it every single time she’s had a PPV match. Bray/Bryan was surprisingly good - I like both but thought for sure they’d be handicapped by the gimmick. Becky/Asuka was alright but the winner was super-predictable and the match as a whole didn’t live up to last year’s. Men’s Rumble was largely meh but I marked like crazy for Edge’s return and Drew winning.

Such a weird show to try to rate.
Reigns and Corbin, I really didn't care about or particularly enjoy.
Women's Rumble was good. Far superior to last year. Disappointing winner.
Didn't really watch Bayley/Evans, but doesn't seem to have been well-received.
Wyatt/Bryan was the best Fiend match by miles.
Lynch/Asuka was good. Disappointing ending.
Men's rumble, what can you say? Lesnar steamrolling the first 5 guys would have been effective. Lesnar steamrolling the first 14 guys? Insanity. Pleasantly surprised by the final third of the match and by the winner.
6 for me, on the cusp of a 7.

I'll give it a Bret. Points for some unexpected returns, but some finishes just killed their respective matches and oof, that men's rumble. Then again, I seem to be getting a LOT more critical with wrestling, even with local Indies and such. I get annoyed when some indies don't announce full cards but just advertise who's going to be on the shows. That probably hurts ticket sales. This year's Rumble: 6/10. Lesnar dominating the first half of the Men's Rumble sucked, as did Charlotte winning the Women's Rumble and Asuka losing to Becky, meaning that another Becky vs. Charlotte match at WM is likely happening. Edge returning was awesome, though, and the second half of the Men's Rumble became more exciting. Bryan vs. Fiend was good, too.

4 for me.
First WWE PPV since Takeover XXV, so I had an interesting time of figuring out who's currently up to what.
Womens rumble was only marginally better than last years, belair looks like a star (still).
For a Royal Rumble Match... the mens was poor overall. First half was basically a gauntlet exhibition match for Lesnar, which did give me a laugh or two but should never flush away half a rumble match.
Edge's return was a nice moment and he had a good run also.
Other than that the rest of the matches were just 'there'.
Also... this was my first time hearing/seeing the fiend's theme/entrance - that was fire to me.

gave it a 7. I liked the women's rumble, even though the winner was meh. Men's rumble picked up after Brock's elimination. Bayley/Evans and Roman/Baron were boring as hell but I really enjoyed Bray/Bryan and Asuka/Beck.
