lol Jansen isn't even warming up. He wouldn't even if he had got the job done last night. It should be Graterol but it looks like Roberts is going with Treinen for...some reason.

Phew! Good but scary win. One away from a WS, but Rays have the pitching advantage in Game 6. Snell vs. Catman and bullpen.

Manuel Margot looked at the Dodgers ninth inning last night and said “I can top that.”

Treinen worked out ultimately.
Kershaw's had a good World Series, too. 'Bout time he doesn't have a chokefest.

Game set match. Handed that game and series away on a silver platter when you decided to STEAL HOME. The jerks deserve to lose. The steal attempt was a very close play though. The far bigger failure is having a fast man on 3rd with no outs and not being able to manufacture a run in a 1-run game. Especially the way the ball carries now. You've got two chances to force him home and tie the game and instead the Dodgers take the momentum to a win.

Credit to Kershaw in flipping the momentum
I thought Rays would came out hot but Dodgers came out focused and took the lead early and Kershaw held on to it

I want us to win but at this point I almost want it just for Kersh, dude has to deal with idiots like me trashing him while he’s carried the team forever. His post game interview today just talking about how his goal is to make his kids proud...ugh. I’m dead nervous but hoping Catman can keep it close.

I want the Rays to win, mostly because of Tyler Glasnow. I saw him a lot during his time with the Indianapolis Indians when they were on digital TV and even saw him once at the ballpark. The Pirates chose to do nothing with him.
So, barring the Dodgers doing something tonight, we'll be going to a Game 7.

I think Snell deserved to pitch until he gave up a run.

Surprised Cash took Snell out this early. And Dodgers tie the game on a wild pitch. Go figure.

There's a difference between not always conforming to "old, conventional wisdom" and nonsense like pulling a starter who is dealing because he's going through the order a third time and giving up a single before.

Stupid fxxxing analytic bullshit. The Rays 100% deserve to lose.

Has there ever been a World Series MVP from the losing team?

But, but the computer says always take the pitcher out before he faces the lineup a 3rd time. A computer can't be wrong.

This is why there's something to be said about gut feelings and intuition. Yes, the statistics are in your favor when making these decisions, but sometimes you're playing Final Fantasy Tactics and the 99% hit chance ends up a miss.

Lots of managers who use analytics don't pull him, but they also don't think they are gospel. This is one of the worst WS decisions of all-time. Snell was easily the best player in the game to that point, and they pulled him on what amounts to a scientific whim. Cash has done a great job with this team, but if they outright fired him over this decision I think it would be completely justified.

Stupid fxxxing analytic bullshit. The Rays 100% deserve to lose. It’s why you don’t play baseball, or coach it, with a computer. Blake Snell was dealing tonight and Kevin Cash made the absolutely wrong decision even if Anderson got out of the inning unscathed. And it’s going to cost the Rays a shot at game 7. In 2003, a decision that egregious cost Grady Little his job. I seriously wonder if it should cost Kevin Cash his.

Mookie Betts hits a solo shot and gives the Dodgers an insurance run.
