Seriously. It makes zero sense they went to old-school Sheamus without his old-school music.
People will pop for it though, so gotta keep the Celtic battle music.

I actually see where they are coming from here, in that using the old theme might inspire some nostalgia, which is the opposite thing they want from a Sheamus kills likeable underdogs angle. Know what else might get the opposite of the intended reaction? Making the faces unlikable useless shits who get beaten two-on-one to prove Sheamus thoroughly correct in saying they suck.

Why they don't just say that though, instead of treading around the issue is beyond me, though. That doesn't explain Drew's, though. Same issue. Oh, I'm not defending McIntyre still having screechy bagpipes. Give him Broken Dreams at Mania, please.

Sheamus has to lurk here if he knows about "Too Many Limes" I think we all sometimes forget that wrestlers have just as much access to the internet as we do. Sheamus probabaly got meme'd at like, 50 times a day on his Twitter when he used that theme music.

Sheamus got cheered this past Friday night beating those two goobers, even without the legendary entrance theme.

They always have weird excuses no one believes. "Outdated". Uh... John Morrison just came back to the same music, and Brock Lesnar is using his track from 2002. Also, Shawn Michaels coming out to "Sexy Boy" in his 40s.

Like, stop being petty about Jim Johnston and bring back the good music. You own the shit. Are they really being petty about Johnston when, as you point out, they continue using music he wrote for various people anyway?

I'll be honest
I don't really like this nostalgia Sheamus... it seems like he's going back to his least interesting self...

I love "Written in My Face" and while we're on the subject, I loved the violin soft intro in the original version that we heard a bit in his ear piece here.
Did the FCW version of "Written In My Face" with the even longer intro ever leak?
