Fatman on Batman when Kevin stopped talking to people who were involved with Batman and just made it a geek show. Its definitely still worth listening to depending on the subject. It helps that Marc Bernardin is far more informed than Kevin, whose knowledge of current pop culture is superficial at best. But yeah, the original format was better. The episodes with Mark Hamill were great.

Stopped listening to Pete Holmes’ “You Made It Weird” after he met his now wife. Got sick of him always bringing her up and he got annoying to me.

Conrad anything - He seems phony as hell and completely refuses to acknowledge that his career was fed to him on a silver spoon. Wrestling Soup - Listened for about 10 minutes and realized the host was a raging self-righteous asshole. Talk is Jericho - I'll still listen to specific guests (Nyla Rose), but I unsubscribed and stopped listening regularly after he interviewed the son of that one guy, and I reported all his posts advertising that episode as "Promoting Hate Speech". Question for anyone really regarding Jericho. I went to download the Nyla Rose episode and noticed the previous episode was Coronvirus - Quarantine or Conspiracy? With a couple of truthers I haven’t downloaded it but this is like a joke right? Like a parody episode? No, he legitimately enjoys talking to crazy people.

I stopped with How did this get made when every episode was a live one, the audio is awful and the crowd just wont shut up. Fatman on Batman when Kevin stopped talking to people who were involved with Batman and just made it a geek show. Ugh yeah I almost always hate live episodes of any podcast. I’m not sure if Last Podcast on the Left ever has live episodes as part of their regular show. I like what they mostly do instead though. They tour live with a regular show they only do for a live crowd and it never appears as part of the regular podcast. I think they’ve sold it as a recorded special in previous years, but I’m not sure if they still do. I get that podcasters have to hustle and doing live shows is another way to make that green. So what LPOTL does seems to work for everyone. Regular podcast listeners don’t have to listen to an episode that would be way better live and probably has inferior audio. Live crowds get something truly unique. And the podcasters have another way to make money. I get that all podcasts may not have the fan base needed to have that format work. But for the ones who do, it’s a great way to go about it.

I'm sadly near my wits end with OSW Review as it's devolved into putting over their own inside joke gimmicks a bit too often. I really wanted them to do a career retrospective on Mike Shaw since Survivor Series 1993 was the one WWF PPV he ever did but they were all "he was a fat f*** and a jobber so meh". They would go all in on a bunch of random guys so why not at least spend 2 minutes talking about a unique person? So, I still listen but I'm starting to lose interest.

But I stopped listening around the Grease 2 episode when my low level of tolerance for June (most people hate Jason but I was the exact opposite; give me an episode without June but keep Jason & you make me happy) went past the boiling point where she summed up her suggestions on fixing the movie as "I would change everything about the movie, except everything about the movie". We get it; you loved the film & just about everything you saw. Why are you here?

Jericho is pretty smart at not tipping his hand to what he believes but does make it clear he finds this kind of stuff interesting and likes talking about it. He had an OJ is innocent guy on not too long ago.

My tipping point on June, and I was never a fan of her because she seemed the least interested of the group, was Striptease, when the episode ground to a halt and she gave a lengthy soliloquy on the plight of sex workers. I still listen, but if it's a June episode, I often listen for a few minutes before losing interest. She's not funny on the podcast, she brings nothing to the discussion, and she is annoying. She's just such a wet blanket. But Paul punched up, so she has to be included. Also, in a more permanent sense. Adeventure Zone. Near the end of the first arc where the dm clearly just wanted to tell his story, DND and choices be damned. Also, adding to this, when they started listening to the fanbase, and got really apologetic about being politically incorrect. "We are different people than when we first named a character Taako, and gave him a sister named Chalupa. We were terrible then." I listened to the end of the arc, and try whenever they do a new one, but I can never get past the first episode.

He had an OJ is innocent guy on not too long ago. It pretty much boils down to Jericho courting a lot of different audiences to get as many ears as possible on his show. Not a bad strategy, his download numbers are apparently extremely high... though still not high enough to consistently crack to top 250 (the official AEW podcast is the only wrestling-related one to regularly chart).

Yeah, June has become extremely “woke” in the past couple of years and it’s honestly kind of a bummer at times(in terms of the podcast).

I gave up on Something To Wrestle With Bruce Prichard because despite the great stories from Bruce, I couldn't stand the repetitive, stale jokes and lame impersonations. Plus it seems like his response to everything was screw Meltzer. Also I think Jericho wants to feed off that Joe Rogan crowd, which isn't the worst idea.

It has since changed with Robbie E signing with WWE, but "Why It Ended" really rubbed me the wrong way with the Koko B. Ware episode. Matt Koon handled it pretty well, but Robbie E basically laughing at how Frankie died really bothered me. I didn't listen to another episode after that.
Even before that, though, Robbie E always seemed pretty disinterested and, I felt, didn't add much. That one particular episode, though, sold me on never listening again.

Not giving up on whole podcasts, but if a podcast that has regular hosts brings in a special guest for an episode, I skip it.
Special guests suck. Try too hard to be funny and lack the chemistry that makes the podcast work in the first place.

Everything Is Coming up Simpsons. Simple concept, they talk about an episode with some guest who picks the episode they want to talk about. Just annoyed me how many things they got incorrect and more and more they’d talk about other things that had nothing to do with the episode. They also seemed to stop watching the show after season 8 or so, which is fine but held themselves up as super fans and would constantly talk about Simpsons trivia nights they hosted but would get simple things wrong about the show. That’s what irritated me.
They recently switched the format and I think they just interview people about whatever the f*** but kept a Simpsons name, for whatever reason.

83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff - I gave up after I realized that every episode was just devolving into Eric Bischoff's personal gripe fest over Dave Meltzer and the Wrestling Observer - every question Conrad would ask relating to the Observer would inevitably end with Bischoff saying it was a lie or that Meltzer wasn't backstage, so how would he know - and Bischoff continuing to come back to the idea of nWo Nitro versus WCW Thunder as the surefire remedy to saving WCW.
The Ringer NBA Show - Host Jason Concepcion has a nails-on-a-chalkboard voice and his fake laugh at anything even remotely humorous led me to quickly unsubscribe from this podcast.
GM Street (part of The Ringer NFL Show) - Mike Lombardi never won a Super Bowl as the head of a team's player development. He oversaw the drafting of Jamarcus Russell in 2007 and the trade for Trent Richardson in 2013. He spent the entirety of the 2017 season ripping into Doug Pederson and the Eagles, only for Pederson's Eagles to win that year's Super Bowl. Yet he'll still play the "smartest guy in the room" card because he happened to work under the likes of Al Davis, Bill Walsh, and Bill Belichick. Hell, his book is called "Gridiron Genius." His total lack of self-awareness - plus the endless references to Bruce Springsteen and 'The Sopranos,' because he's from New Jersey, you see - became so grating that I just had to turn it off.
Disgraceland - I'm not out yet, but I'm toeing the line. This was the podcast that got me into podcasts, the perfect blend of music and true crime. It introduced me to stories I'd never heard before (the death of Van Morrison's guitarist, the cannibalism of Big Lurch) and musicians I was unaware of (GG Allin, Tay-K, the Norwegian Black Metal craze). But that was season one. Since then, it's become an erstaz Behind the Music, focusing on famous acts with troubled (but well-known) pasts. My theory is that discussing the likes of Johnny Paycheck, Spade Cooley, and Michael Alig wasn't paying the bills, that's why more recent seasons have focused on more popular names like Eminem, Madonna, and Cardi B.

I mean I don't really need a podcast to see that last bit... how much of his booking relied on "give me an open checkbook" and "let's do the NWO again."

I thought June was funny in a kinda ditsy way, and Paul was milquetoast.
