We can really do without insulting the people in the live thread considering Goldberg did get heavily booed and there was a "You Both Suck" chant that lasted quite a few seconds. No one here even really said Roman got booed. And of course he's gonna be fine against Bill, he only has to wrestle about three minutes, what a great Mania title match... That's not insulting tho. He said he don't listen to people on here because they will over inflate on the truth and mix their own emotions into it. Keep it full 100, as I said earlier people came in here with an attitude and that's why I dipped earlier If we going to talk about how everything, don't just state the boos, state that there was a cheer so people get the full picture as opposed to the purely negative one Fair enough, though Reigns being cheered kinda gets masked by the massive Goldberg Boos and the "YOU BOTH SUCK" chant making its way in. It however is nice not everything was a disaster, I just really ain't feeling this match. I dont think people were leaving Reigns cheers out on purpose, just that they werent the big story of the segment, people rejecting it was for the moment, unless they turn it around.

It is still part of the narrative tho. People may not be leaving the Reigns cheers out on purpose but that's because that's not the story they want to tell. People have formed their opinions on this match before it happened, but it still fair to state what happens even if it isn't going to change people perspective

Insulting people? I said I don't listen to most people here when it comes to what happens because their negativity distorts what really happened and I can see how it is myself and make an objective opinion. If you think it's an insult to say "hey I'm taking my own eyes over what people say about something" then that's a problem. We have an ignore feature on this forum for a reason and nowhere does it say on the forum that we have to take everyone's opinion as fact. What's your problem?
Secondly, in that post you quoted I straight up said Goldberg was heavily booed and there was a light "you both suck" chant that didn't stick given the rest of the noise drowned it out and given the chant didn't grow. You're saying the same thing I am but the difference is that I'm explaining how non-deep those chants were and how much Reigns is being cheered because it's a fact.
So what are you saying here? Idk dude saying people are so negative they're twisting the reactions and are not correct in what they're hearing just seemed off to me, because I don't think that's the case a lot of the time. In some cases? Sure, and there isn't anything wrong with your own takes, I just thought it a bit rude to say you can't form your own opinion while watching on the forum, because to me no one was twisting anything about that segment. Perhaps I got a little ahead of myself in terms of what I posted, I just feel like some people mark the live threads or the board as "not fun" to watch the shows on and when it really comes down to it, the opinions vary greatly and we're pretty chill. Tonights thread was just bound to have a negative blowback from Showdown. As someone who's mostly stopped watching weekly shows with the forum and the same with a good amount of ppvs, the difference is noticeable and not just the reaction of the product but to how some scenes happened. For example, I asked a question about what happened and multiple people here responded because in their eyes judging what was said here you'd think both guys were heavily booed and got loud "you both suck chants" when the reality is Goldberg was booed, Reigns got a mixed chant with more cheers than boos and when he spoke they heavily cheered and then there was the light "you both suck" chant that came from not that many people. There's a difference between that and perception.
You can have a different opinion but I'm going to keep it a buck and say that my enjoyment of all the products whether the weekly shows, ppvs, WWE, NXT, AEW even, my enjoyment's heavily gone up once I stopped paying attention to people's comments. I only do that for major shows like big events. At the same time that doesn't mean that perception can't be altered. Even your responses made it seem as though the "you both suck" chants were the main thing that happened in that segment when the reality of it is Goldberg sucks and Reigns got more cheers than boos, it's clear the crowd will be behind him especially in his own state.

Here Kendrick is obsessed with pirates and Gallagher returns with a huge ass ship tattoo'd across his chest just before they partner together for the first time in ages. OK.

But now, that's JACK GALLAGHER? WHY?

Legit the other day I was thinking about Eric Young’s back tattoo and considering making a “Which wrestler will be the next to get a bad tattoo that completely changes their look?” Can’t say I’d have had Gallagher in the bet, but damned if he wasn’t the one.

The Road to WrestleMania is back on track after taking a wrong turn to Saudi Arabia with a good Smackdown. A nice & quick segment to start Smackdown, which is the best way for Goldberg. Though I’m not a fan of Goldberg, I’m interested in seeing him against Roman Reigns. But, I can’t believe you just have to stare down the Champion to get a Title Shot at WrestleMania. What happened to the Elimination Chamber Match where Reigns was supposed to qualify for? Naomi VS Bayley and then the ensuing Tag Match with Lacey Evans & Sasha Banks were OK. Kofi Kingston VS Robert Roode was a great match, but I don’t care about Mandy Rose & Otis. The Contract Signing for the Intercontinental Title Match with Braun Strowman & Shinsuke Nakamura was great thanks to Sami Zayn. Daniel Bryan VS Curtis Axel was a surprisingly good match, as Bryan continues his Nexus Reunion Tour. The Miz & John Morrison’s promo was good and I’m looking forward to the Tag Team Elimination Chamber Match, which could be fun. The Usos VS The Miz & Morrison was a fun match. Also, they had another graphic this week, which I think is the return of Mustafa Ali. I loved John Cena’s promo and I’m looking forward to him VS The Fiend at WrestleMania. It could be fun. It’s better than having him in the Title Picture. 205 Live was awesome with 2 excellent matches.
Here are the Facts & Stats for Smackdown: - Naomi VS Bayley was Naomi’s 2nd week in a row on Smackdown & her 1st Smackdown opener of 2020, Bayley’s 1st Smackdown match & opener since February 14, Naomi was the 1st wrestler since Carmella on February 7 & 14 to go from the Smackdown main event to the following week’s opener, was the 1st match of 2020 to take place on PPV & then re-matched on Smackdown in the same week in 2020, the 1st match to be re-matched from Super Showdown, was their 2nd match against each other, & their 1st re-match, & was the 12th Disqualification of 2020, the 2nd one this week after Raw, & the 1st on Smackdown since January 10 - Lacey Evans & Naomi VS Sasha Banks & Bayley was Banks’ 1st Smackdown match since January 3, Evans’ 1st Smackdown since January 17 & her 1st match overall since the Royal Rumble on January 26, & Naomi & Bayley were the 1st wrestlers of 2020 to compete twice on Smackdown in 2020, & was the 1st Smackdown since January 17 to have 2 Women’s Matches - Kofi Kingston VS Robert Roode was both Kingston & Roode’s 2nd week in a row on Smackdown, & was the 1st ever 1-on-1 match between Kingston & Roode in their career, & was Roode’s 1st win of 2020, his 1st win overall since he, King Corbin, & Dolph Ziggler defeated Ali, Shorty G, & Roman Reigns on Smackdown on November 22, 2019, & his 1st Singles win since he defeated No Way Jose on Raw on August 12, 2019 - Daniel Bryan VS Curtis Axel was Bryan’s 4th week in a row on Smackdown & was Axel’s 1st match of 2020, his 1st match overall since the Tag Team Turmoil Match at Crown Jewel on October 31, 2019, & his 1st on Smackdown since he lost to Chad Gable on October 18, 2019 - The Usos VS The Miz & John Morrison was Jey & Jimmy Uso’s 2nd week in a row on Smackdown & their 1st main event since January 31, The Miz & John Morrison’s 3rd week in a row on Smackdown & their 1st main event since February 14, The Usos, Miz & Morrison were the 2nd week in a row that someone went from the Smackdown opener to the following week’s main event, & was the 250th Match on TV & PPV in WWE, NXT, NXT UK, & 205 Live in 2020
