That show is on March 11 and will air from the Performance Center in Orlando. Interesting. My second thoughts for why this show is on a Tuesday is they might want to get some wrestlemania week traffic to stay an extra day and check out NXT before they had back to the airport in Orlando. Who knows. I think it's almost certainly this which is actually smart really.

Tampa to Orlando is roughly a two hour drive if the roads are clear... and given my experiences in Orlando during 2017 Mania Weekend, good luck with that. WWE will probably want any fans still in town on Tuesday to head on over to Full Sail to cap their week off.

No to mention, unless they raise the ticket prices, it does nothing for their bottom line because they generally sell out Full Sail regardless of what is in town. If they want to entice people to travel to Orlando on Tuesday, they need a bigger venue than Full Sail.

My guess on thinking about this further - USA wants to do a Mania weekend promotion, possibly including playing part of the Hall of Fame as well as the Mania preshow, and it plays better having NXT on Tuesday for it than it would have an unused day in the middle.

That could be the case, though from USA’s perspective, Friday and Saturday has nothing on their network, and that’s assuming they air an hour of Kickoff like they usually do.

That 2nd part is cap and extreme bias. They been around the same number for a min, they just been losing in the ratings but they haven’t gotten worse This week they lost all the demos so to me it hasn't exactly been great for NXT They aren't doing terrible, but it's been like a 16-3 AEW ratings split, I'm not trying to be bias here, I'm saying NXT would probably benefit being on Tuesday rather than trying to ram headfirst into AEW because Vince can't stand someone else succeeding... Yes, they would 100% benefit from going to Tuesday but the back and forth on Wed is part of the fun. AEW winning was always going to happen whether people wanted to believe it or not If people want to say they want to watch both shows live which is why they want it on diff days that's fine. But the underlying thing is people want NXT on a diff day to say AEW won when there really isn't a need. NXT is doing better then people want to give them credit for and it's not hurting AEW whatsoever so moving the day is really no need unless they start dipping below 600,000 on a regular

WWE sells their Mania packages so in general they can add NXT to the package so you'll be paying for Friday-Tues for all the shows

I'm just going to point out that nothing on that graphic indicates the show is airing that night. In all probability, they are taping it on Tuesday to air on Wednesday. Really this just gives the wrestlers a full week off instead of them working all Mania weekend, taking Tuesday off, working Wednesday, then being off. It's just a little cleaner.

NXT on tuesdays permanently would be so much worse because now you puttin a show WWE themselves do jack and shit to promote up against the primary night for NBA this is why Wednesday works best because while yea they have to split some of the audience with AEW they have atleast been steady in their ratings.
But I doubt this is anything more than it is WM weekend and this just makes it easier for the talent.

Also the night after RAW which usually has its own surprises after WrestleMania and if people are being moved to NXT as rumored...yeah, good time to have the show live then taped.
