I agree it’s not one of the better Manias as a whole but at least 32 has the women’s triple threat.

"Only the best! Wrestlemanias 4, 9, 11, 25, 27, 32!" Lol hey WrestleMania 4 isn’t that bad. I liked the whole Tournament structure, and because I fell asleep while watching it at 2am I had a dream where I beat Freddy Kruger in the finals when Macho Man hit him from behind with a chair and I hit the Macho Man Elbow from 20 feet. Yea that was a weird ass dream haha

I actually rewatched 32 the other day and it is a much better show than I remember. I think I shut off after AJ losing and didn’t pay attention to how decent the actual wrestling was.
Yes Shane shouldn’t have been made to look as competitive against the Undertaker; yes Sasha probably needed the win more than Charlotte; yes we probably didn’t need Triple H v Roman Reigns as the main event; yes I would have rather Ambrose v Brock went a bit longer. I also have no love for Zack Ryder so was baffled by him winning.
Yet taking it purely as a show when trying to watch neutrally - I liked it.
Also: there is something I find compelling about Stephanie during Triple H’s entrance....

How are any of these considered "Classic"? Maybe 30 could be at this point? But 32?? Ew... 30 is a slam dunk classic.

I can't remember how I felt after watching it live, but 32 is one of those shows I can't stand now when I think about it. The women's triple threat is the only match I ever see myself revisiting.

Sportsnet in Canada will also be airing the same WrestleMania replays - WM30 will air on Sunday at Noon, WM32 next Wednesday (April 1st) at Noon, and WM35 on Friday April 3rd at Noon (all Eastern).

Why did they pick 32? Ugh. My only guess: because Shaq was in the battle royal.

Wish they would go from the first one on up, but I can see why not (especially if they got to 16-23, the ones with Benoit).

It’s probably because they don’t want to broadcast a 3 or 4 hour event that isnt in High Definition. The main sports networks rarely show full classic games from before 2007-ish because they don’t want to show long standard def programming

But, to be fair those events have not been remastered for widescreen.

You can make the old stuff look pretty nice, but I don’t think they like broadcasting shows in 4:3 with bars on the sides.

Why did they pick 32? Ugh. My only guess: because Shaq was in the battle royal. If you watch the commercial they did for it, it highlighted Rock, Shaq, HBK, Foley, Austin, The Flairs, Undertaker, Roman, Hunter, and Shane McMahon bumping off the cell. Again, this isn't for us. They want programming that might get a typical sports fan to bite, and that audience doesn't give a shit that the League of Nations beat the New Day. But they might care about Dwayne Johnson shooting off a flamethrower while the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders do a dance.

Anyone else agree Wrestlemania 24 would have been a better fit than 32?
- It's in HD
- Mayweather, Kardashian, Snoop and other mainstream celebs are in it
- Lots of the talents involved recently returned to the company (Punk, Morrison)
- the all-time Mania moment of Ric Flair's final match

You can make the old stuff look pretty nice, but I don’t think they like broadcasting shows in 4:3 with bars on the sides. Well, ESPN right now is airing an old New York Mets/Atlanta Braves game from 2001 WITH bars on the sides so it’s not like they are totally against airing that type of footage every now and than,
