Fantastic show...NXT is definetly entering a whole new epic phase. fresh feuds just about everywhere and new faces in intriguiging stories and vingettes building everyone up in all types of interesting directions. And also Charlotte! Not everything can be perfect....but there is a chance there is always a chance and his name is Austin Theory (looks around) Who the f*** said that?

I enjoyed NXT until the main event, which is very rare. I like the opening segment of NXT. I’m happy they didn’t do Finn Balor VS The Velveteen Dream. That match should be saved for a Takeover and not rushed in a week for NXT TV. The brawl to set-up the main event was good. Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox VS Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai was good. The video for Drake Maverick was so emotional. It would be so cool if he ends up being re-signed. Jake Atlas’ profile video was good. Jake Atlas VS Drake Maverick was an excellent match & told a great story. I liked Damien Priest’s promo to set-up a feud with Keith Lee. Kushida VS Tony Nese was an incredible match, as was their respective profiles before the match. A lot of interesting promos back to back with Matt Riddle & Timothy Thatcher, Johnny Gargano & Candice LeRae, & Io Shirai. Mia Yim VS Jessi Kamea was a nice little match. I also like the segment with Charlotte Flair & Yim, even though Shirai is supposed to be Flair’s next opponent. A good video with Robert Stone & Chelsea Green. 2 more good profile videos for El Hijo Del Fantasma & Jack Gallagher, followed by an excellent match. I like the parking lot segment with Hijo Del Fantasma blocking the Lucha Parking Lot Gang. The main event was horrible. Twice they promised us tonight amazing matches and both were changed and ended up being a disappointing match that was basically an angle.
Here are the Facts & Stats for NXT: - Shotzi Blackheart & Tegan Nox VS Raquel Gonzalez & Dakota Kai was Gonzalez’s 2nd week in a row on NXT & her 1st NXT opener, Nox’s 3rd week in a row on NXT, which was the 1st time for her in 2020 & her 1st opener since April 8, Kai’s 1st NXT match & opener since April 8, Blackheart’s 1st NXT since April 1 & her 1st NXT opener of 2020, & the 1st time both teams have teamed up in NXT - Drake Maverick VS Jake Atlas was Atlas’ 1st NXT match since April 1, Maverick’s NXT debut, 1st match overall since the Battle Royal at Crown Jewel on October 31, 2019, & his 1st Singles Match since he defeated Mike Kanellis on 205 Live on July 30, 2019 - Kushida VS Tony Nese was Nese’s 1st NXT match since March 25 & was Kushida’s 1st NXT match since April 1 - Mia Yim VS Jessi Kamea was Yim’s 1st NXT match since April 8 & was Jessi Kamea’s 1st NXT match since January 15 & was her 1st Singles Match on NXT since she lost to Vanessa Borne on May 15, 2019 - El Hijo Del Fantasma VS Jack Gallagher was Fantasma’s NXT debut & was Gallagher’s 1st NXT match of 2020 & his 1st NXT match since he lost to Isaiah Scott on December 20, 2019 - Dexter Lumis & The Velveteen Dream VS The Undisputed ERA was Roderick Strong’s 2nd week in a row in the NXT main event, the 1st time since February 12 & 19 that he competed 2 weeks in a row on NXT, Dream’s 1st NXT match since April 1 & his 1st main event since March 4, Dexter Lumis’ 2nd week in a row & his 1st main event, Adam Cole’s 1st NXT TV math & main event since February 12, & his 1st match overall since he defeated Tommaso Ciampa at Takeover: Portland on February 16, the 1st time Lumis & Velveteen Dream have teamed up in NXT, & was the 1st time that Cole & Strong teamed up in a 2-on-2 Match since they defeated Pete Dunne & Ricochet on August 29, 2018, marking the 3rd Version of Undisputed ERA to team up in 2020, and for the record, I have no idea when Adam Cole was last pinned in NXT. He has lost a lot of Tag Team Matches, but I don't know if he was involved in the decision, but he did lose to Matt Riddle on NXT on May 8, 2019 in a Singles Match

I love how distinct and different each vingette was tonight and when it comes to the shorter more direct ones these two are just amazing.
Io's is top 10 anime fights level of build and that beat they threw in there is f***ing rad.
And Scarletts is just perfect in every way because it has touches or Kross but also distinct to her ...with her talking in hers where Kross's promos all the imagery spoke for him and the scarlett red flower was a beautiful touch.

There was a deep cut on the show that I enjoyed. Dream is cutting his promo and calls Balor "Finn Baylor" like he did when he was on Tough Enough and was asked about watching the Beast in the East special that Finn won the NXT title at. I remember Dream getting some heat from fans for getting Finn's name wrong. Nice touch to bring it back.
Regarding Drake, I think they have no choice but to talk about him being released. It would be really awkward if they just ignored it. It gives extra meaning to all of his matches now. Adds more drama and is something we all can get into and I thought his promo before his match was amazing. Before all this, did we really care about this tournament? Now we all have someone we're seriously rooting for and now that he's down a match, we're only going to root for him even more. I honestly think Drake is getting rehired once this is all over, maybe even before that.
