They can have it be Kross....and when he wins it Ciampa comes back and the Lee feud could easily sustain for a few months because of Kross's character not simply being a guy who needs to be in the ring to further a feud.

That actually deflated me. Lee’s above that title at this point and the other dudes I love are all getting fed to him. I won't say I'm upset or anything, but Priest could've used that win. Not sure where you go with him after this, unless *gulp* Vince wants him on Raw or SD now. Dude is on the older side, 37 I think. He may take the money bump and I wouldn't blame him.

Another awesome NXT. Isaiah Scott VS El Hijo Del Fantasma was an awesome way to kick off NXT. Good promo by Dominik Dijakovic to set-up a feud with Johnny Gargano. Kacy Catanzaro VS Candice LeRae was good. I like the new look of LeRae & Johnny Gargano. I had no idea what I watched with the Newly Bro Game with Matt Riddle & Timothy Thatcher, but I like the idea of Imperium getting involved in the Tag Team Division, since it opens up more challengers for Riddle & Thatcher. A good promo by Adam Cole. Mia Yim VS Charlotte Flair was an excellent match. I also like the staredown with Io Shirai. I liked the backstage segment with Kacy Catanzaro, Kayden Carter, & Candice LeRae. Dexter Lumis VS Shane Thorne was a good match. At least Thorne had some offense to make him look strong since he’s now on Raw. Good promo by Keith Lee, & I forgot to mention Damian Priest’s promo earlier. Keith Lee VS Damien Priest was an awesome main event to close out the show. And it’s awesome that they are stacking the deck for next week’s NXT with 2 title matches & a match between Dijakovic & Gargano.
Here are the Facts & Stats for NXT: - Isaiah Scott VS El Hijo Del Fantasma was Hijo Del Fantasma’s 2nd week in a row on NXT & his 1st NXT opener, Scott’s 1st NXT match since April 15 & his 1st NXT opener since February 5, & was the 450th Match on TV & PPV in WWE, NXT, NXT UK, & 205 Live in 2020 - Kacy Catanzaro VS Candice LeRae was LeRae’s 1st NXT since April 8 & was Catanzaro’s 1st NXT since February 5 - Mia Yim VS Charlotte Flair was Yim’s 2nd week in a row, making it the 1st time since January 8 & 15 that she competed 2 weeks in a row on NXT, Flair’s 1st NXT since February 26, & was their 2nd match against each other as they wrestled on NXT on December 4, 2014, which was also won by Flair, & was the 3rd week in a row NXT had 2 Women’s Matches - Dexter Lumis VS Shane Thorne was Lumis’ 3rd week in a row on NXT & was Shane Thorne’s 1st NXT since March 25 & his 1st Singles Match on NXT since he lost to Mansoor on November 27, 2019 - Drake Maverick VS Tony Nese was both Maverick & Nese’s 2nd week in a row on NXT, making it the 1st time that both wrestlers competed 2 weeks in a row on NXT - Keith Lee VS Damian Priest was the 5th North American Championship Match & the 1st since NXT on April 1, both Lee & Priest’s 1st NXT match & main event since April 1, their 2nd match against each other, as this was a re-match of NXT on July 24, 2019, which was won by Priest, & was Lee’s 4th defense, tying him with Ricochet as the North American Champion with the 2nd most defenses, with The Velveteen Dream’s 5 defenses as the most defenses, & ahead of Adam Cole & Roderick Strong (3), & Johnny Gargano (1) - This was the 1st NXT since April 1 to not have a Tag Team Match

Priest needed that win a whole lot more I'm not mad at Lee getting a strong championship run but I would called an audible on this one with the stuff with Dream being a big hold up Priest wins. Cole wins next week, talks shit and Lee comes out. Lee has already beaten everyone of the UE including pinning Cole and he will kill the prophecy permanently

He's dropped his last five matches straight at this point in time... Four of them in some way, shape or form to Lee.

Yea, there is still a outside chance we get a champion vs champion match which is fine in theory but in theory Lee doesn't need a double champ accolade as the result is still the same Just made too much sense to strap up the dangerous Priest and free up Lee

I said this earlier I could see them trying to go Champion Vs Champion with Lee and Cole basically both guys going all in with that match to put over Lee in the biggest possible way.
What Kross does next week is the wild card in that though because he could also be slotted as Lee's next challenger.

Kross is most likely going to be too tied up with Ciampa I think they go Gargano for Lee. His last heel run he beat big fan favorite Ricochet and I can see it happening again with Lee
