Dude survives a damn tiger attack, and then gets taken out by a freak virus years later.
Seriously, f*** Covid-19.

For some reason I thought he had passed a year or so ago. Damn, never saw his stage show but I did religiously watch Father of the Pride when it was on.
RIP

I'm sure he'd maybe think that everything post-attack was a bonus, since it could have so easily ended there. Thankfully, it didn't.
Doesn't really make this any less of a bummer.

Never saw a S&R show. Did go to their mini zoo at The Mirage when I was in Vegas in 2013. It was nice to see the retired animals from their acts being given a decent place to live out their lives and be cared for.
RIP Roy

Damn. That sucks. I never saw him perform, but I did watch a Siegfried and Roy cartoon back in the 90s so he was part of my childhood however small.
RIP.

Dude survives a damn tiger attack, and then gets taken out by a freak virus years later. Seriously, f*** Covid-19. somewhere, cancer is breathing a sigh of relief due to losing its #1 heel status in the medical world. Whether or not it's true/justified, who knows? This whole situation warps your sense of perspective. Said it a few times, I know. But I grapple with this on a daily basis, so.... Anyway, I never saw one of their shows, despite the fact that I used to go to Vegas annually. Haven't been there for 6 years since my dad was ill/would pass away the year after. I did get to visit the zoo they had there a few times, though. But, being that the area means a lot to me, it hurts to see 19 scar it in so many ways, general and personal to certain people. RIP.

Oh wow. Why am I just hearing about this now? Sad. News of his death broke a couple hrs before Little Richard's was reported. So, this was one of those instances of one celeb death overshadowing another.

Like I said, Covid: I am the biggest villain in medical history! Cancer: Remember me? :-(
