They shouldn't even use the name Backlash if they aren't gonna use the classic stage.

Edge vs Orton could be good, if it doesn't go on an eternity like the Last Man Standing match did.

Charly is having her Melina vs Alicia Fox moment right now. She and Dana can team up as the Muscular Airheads.

If Orton is asking him if he has guts, does this mean we will have a special referee, Mo from Nickelodeon Guts!

I like Charly but wtf was that about lmao Right? We all know the greatest wrestling match ever is going to take place next week, when Bliss Cross defend the titles against The IIconics.

We need Bret Hart to show up and scream at the both of them about the dangers of regular wrestling matches. One of them could get a groin pull the likes they've never seen before!

Well, this is one way to get me back into Shayna: having her annihilate Nattie.

If Austin Theory was managed by Shane McMahon, they'd call him Theory of a Red Man.
I just came up with that. Now it's time to sleep. Goodnight!

Before starting Raw, here are some Bonus Facts for Money In The Bank: The Women’s Money In The Bank Match was the 50th PPV Match of 2020, Money In The Bank was Kofi Kingston’s 1st win since The New Day & The Usos defeated The Miz, John Morrison, Robert Roode, & Dolph Ziggler on Smackdown on February 21 & The New Day’s 1st 2-on-2 win on PPV since they defeated The Revival at TLC on December 15, 2019, Bobby Lashley’s 1st win on PPV since he defeated Rusev at TLC on December 15, 2019, Braun Strowman’s 1st match since he defeated Shinsuke Nakamura on Smackdown on April 10, Bray Wyatt’s 1st match since he defeated John Cena at WrestleMania 36 on April 5, Seth Rollins’ 1st match since he defeated Denzel Dejournette on Raw on April 6, Asuka’s 1st win on PPV since The Kabuki Warriors defeated Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch at TLC on December 15, 2019, Black’s 1st loss since he lost to AJ Styles on Raw on March 2, ending a 10 Match winning streak, & was Rey Mysterio’s 1st loss since the Royal Rumble on January 26, ending a 7 Match winning streak And even though the match ended up being for the Raw Women’s Title, I will still count the Money In The Bank Match for a Cash In, therefore, for the 1st time in WWE History, a Money In The Bank Winner won a Championship without wrestling the Champion in a match, as Becky Lynch vacated the Raw Women’s Championship and gave it to Asuka. Asuka’s cash in was the 5th Shortest Cash In in History & the 1st time someone cashed in 24 hours after winning it & was the 7th Cash In on Raw & 1st since Damien Sandow in 2013. This was the 5th successful cash in for the Women’s Championship & the 1st time for a Raw Women’s Championship since Alexa Bliss in 2018.
A decent Raw. Raw started very emotionally with Becky’s announcement. I am so happy for her. I’m also happy for Asuka and in a way it’s good that this happened instead of the Money In The Bank Briefcase being out there, so it could get out of the way. Humberto Carrillo VS Bobby Lashley was OK. The Street Profits & The Viking Raiders’ promos were stupid. This is WWE, not the NBA. I think it’s stupid that they are already starting dissension in Zelina Vega’s group. Akira Tozawa VS Angel Garza could have been a much better match, given who was involved. I did like Drew McIntyre coming out and his match with Andrade was pretty good, as was McIntyre’s promo afterwards, but why is he going to wrestle King Corbin? I liked MVP’s pep talk to Lashley. MVP would be a perfect manager for him. A Moment of Bliss was good. Even though they are annoying, it’s good to see The Iiconics back and their match with Bliss & Cross was good. Rey Mysterio’s interview was good and at least someone acknowledged Seth Rollins as Becky’s baby daddy. The 6-Man Tag with Cedric Alexander, Ricochet, & R-Truth VS MVP, Shane Thorne, & Brendan Vink was a waste of so many great wrestlers. I like Shayna Baszler’s promo being different than everyone else’s. Aleister Black & Rey Mysterio VS Murphy & Seth Rollins was great & I like this new version of Rollins. The basketball game between The Street Profits & The Viking Raiders was a complete waste of time and shouldn’t be on a wrestling show. Natalya VS Shayna Baszler was good and personal after Baszler’s comments earlier. Corbin shouldn’t be on Raw, so I don’t care about his promo. The closing segment with Edge & Randy Orton was really good and a good start to the build for Backlash.
Here are the Facts & Stats for RAW: - Humberto Carrillo VS Bobby Lashley was the 6th No Disqualification Match of 2020, the 1st since WrestleMania 35 on April 4, & the 1st on Raw in 2020, Carrillo’s 2nd week in a row in the Raw opener, Lashley’s 3rd week in a row on Raw & his 2nd week in a row in the Raw opener - Akira Tozawa VS Angel Garza was the 1st time in his career that Tozawa wrestled 5 weeks in a row on Raw & was Garza’s 8th week in a row on Raw - Drew McIntyre VS Andrade was McIntyre’s 2nd week in a row on Raw, Andrade’s 1st Raw since April 27, & was the 4th 1-on-1 match between them, with their 1st match taking place on NXT on April 26, 2017, which was won by McIntyre & their last match taking place on Raw on April 13, which was the last time there was a Champion VS Champion Match, so in their now 4 matches, McIntyre has won 2 & Andrade has won 1 - Alexa Bliss & Nikki Cross VS The Iiconics was everyone’s 1st Raw match of 2020, Bliss’ 1st Raw since she lost to Sasha Banks on September 30, 2019, Cross’ 1st Raw since she lost to Banks on September 23, 2019, Billie Kay & Peyton Royce’s 1st match since they lost to Charlotte Flair & Becky Lynch on November 18, 2019, the 3rd 2-on-2 Tag Team Match between them, with their 1st match taking place on Raw on June 17, 2019, which was won by The Iiconics & their last match taking place at SummerSlam on August 11, 2019, which was won by Bliss & Cross, so now in their 3 matches, Bliss & Cross has won 1 match & The Iiconics have won 2 matches, & was The Iiconics’ 1st win since they defeated Dana Brooke & Sarah Logan on Main Event on September 13, 2019 & their 1st win on Raw since they defeated Bliss & Cross on June 17, 2019 - Cedric Alexander, Ricochet, & R-Truth VS MVP, Shane Thorne, & Brendan Vink was the 15th 6-Person Tag Team Match of 2020, the 1st since Smackdown on May 8, & the 1st on Raw since April 27, the 1st time in his career that Alexander wrestled 6 weeks in a row on Raw, Ricochet’s 6th week in a row on Raw, Truth’s 1st Raw since February 24, Thorne & Vink’s 2nd week in a row on Raw, MVP’s 1st Raw since April 20, & was Truth’s 1st win on Raw, not counting 24/7 Title Matches since he & Goldust defeated The Shining Stars on October 24, 2016 - Aleister Black & Rey Mysterio VS Murphy & Seth Rollins was Murphy’s 2nd week in a row on Raw, Black & Mysterio’s 1st Raw since April 27, Rollins’ 1st Raw since April 6, the 1st time Black & Mysterio teamed up in a 2-on-2 Tag Team Match, & was Murphy & Rollins’ 1st time teaming since they lost to The Street Profts at Elimination Chamber on March 8, & was the 23rd Disqualification of 2020, the 1st since NXT on May 6, the 1st for WWE proper since Smackdown on May 1, & the 1st on Raw since April 6 - Natalya VS Shayna Baszler was Baszler’s 1st Raw since April 20 & was Natalya’s 1st Raw since March 9, & was both Natalya & Baszler’s 1st Raw main event of 2020, & was the 1st Raw since April 20 to have 2 Women’s Matches

Man it feels so wrong to have it go WM - MITB - Backlash Backlash should ALWAYS be in April after WM, dammit. AND BRING BACK THE HOOKS!!! Because of the Herb Abrams Dark Side episode, I read that as hookers. I agree regardless.

WWE needs an attitude adjustment, if they don't go forward with these beautiful segments. Street Profits are gonna be shocked to find out these guys actually know how to play hockey as they're freakin' canadiens.
