I saw this before I ever saw the Shatner version. It was still funny, not even being in on it.

Remember that time when Family Guy had plotlines and interesting characters?

That episode where Chris joins the Peace Corp and goes to the South Pacific is f***ing terrible. The part where they sing "Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go" made me turn over.
McFarlane needs to drag himself into a new decade. At least the 90s would do for now.

My favorite bit from Family Guy is on the "Jewish" episode where Peter is trying to prove how stupid Chris is. He smacks Chris then tells him the lamp did it. Chris tackles the lamp.
As far as cutaways go, the Don Knotts one wins. I quote it at every opportunity.

That was on last night and the whole episode had some good ones. Crappy MC Skat Kat aside, i forgot how hot Paula was in that video. Splicing Peter in there was genius.

How does everyone feel about the Vaudeville characters? And to piggyback on to DiG, the barbershop quartet also took the time to explain vasectomies.

Even when Family Guy was good, I still hated the vaudeville guys.

these cutaways remind me of when Family Guy hadnt ran everything into the ground. Now cutaways are needlessly long and rather unfunny I agree Now adays im watching one im like.. "ha ha ha.......hee hee.....heh......... Ok it's stopped being funny now......move on please........ Please........ K it's boring now......... F**ks sake" The last cut off that made me laugh though was this one www.youtube.com/watch?v=o1_91VlTRgw
