F***ing hell, seriously, what is Breeze doing to get so much bacne? He doesn’t look like a Roidy McGee. I remember Dalton Castle's bacne was out of control during his World title match against Jay Lethal in ROH and Castle didn't really look that much bigger than he normally does.

Adam Pearce did really well in that one segment. I was impressed.

Which PC drongo managed to find a bucket hat in 2020? You and I have been thinking on the same wavelength. I noticed her in the Raw audience , not sure if she was at NXT but here she is again with her late 90s fashion choices. Who is she and where the hell did she find ye old ancient bucket hat.

I think it's Marina Shafir, but I'll have to look back and make sure.

Despite the opening angle, I loved Smackdown with a lot of great matches. WWE should be ashamed with themselves to make light of Jeff Hardy’s past and do an angle like they did with him. And they should also be ashamed at themselves for making me spend all day getting all of my facts done for tonight’s show and 2 of the matches didn’t take place, but that’s on me. But, having said that the Battle Royal was really good. Sonya Deville’s promo was OK, as was her match with Lacey Evans. It could be a good feud. The Forgotten Sons’ promo was OK. The Moment of Bliss Segment was OK. The New Day was funny and I like the idea of Bliss & Cross feuding with The Iiconics on Raw & Bayley & Banks on Smackdown. Bliss VS Sasha Banks was good. The segment with Mandy & Otis was stupid. Shorty G VS Cesaro was short but good, and at least it looks like they are going to give a push to Gable. I like Kurt Angle being used to introduce Matt Riddle, but I hope they use him properly. Daniel Bryan VS Sheamus was an excellent main event that I didn’t know I wanted to see tonight, since I was looking forward to Bryan VS Jeff Hardy. 205 Live was excellent as always with 2 great matches in Tyler Breeze VS Tony Nese and Danny Burch VS Tehuti Miles.
Here are the Facts & Stats for Smackdown: - The Battle Royal was the 5th Battle Royal of 2020, the 1st since NXT UK on April 2, the 1st for WWE proper since the Royal Rumble on January 26, the 1st on Smackdown in 2020 & the 1st on Smackdown since November 27, 2018, Cesaro’s 1st Smackdown since May 9 & his 1st opener since March 20, King Corbin’s 1st Smackdown match & opener since May 15, Lince Dorado & Gran Metalik’s 1st Smackdown since May 8 & his 1st opener since January 31, Shorty G’s 1st Smackdown since February 14 & his 1st opener of 2020, Drew Gulak’s 1st Smackdown since May 15 & his 1st opener since April 24, Shinsuke Nakamura’s 2nd week in a row on Smackdown, which was the 3rd month in a row that happened, & his 1st opener since March 27, Sheamus’ 2nd week in a row on Smackdown, his 1st opener of 2020, & he was the 2nd week in a row that someone went from the Smackdown main event to the following week’s opener, Jey Uso’s 1st Smackdown since April 17 & his 1st opener since February 17, & was Ziggler’s 2nd week in a row & his 1st opener since February 21 - Lacey Evans VS Sonya Deville was Evans’ 1st Smackdown since May 8 & her 1st Singles match since she defeated Sasha Banks on Smackdown on April 24, & was the 1st time Deville wrestled 2 weeks in a row since January 24 & 31, & was their 2nd 1-on-1 Match between them as Deville defeated Evans on NXT on May 17, 2017, so therefore in their 2 matches, Evans won 0, Deville won 1, & 1 match ended in a Double Count, & was the 3rd Count Out of 2020, the 1st since Raw on February 17, & the 1st on Smackdown in 2020, the 8th No Contest of 2020, the 1st since Raw on April 6, & the 1st on Smackdown since March 27, & the 1st Double Count Out of 2020, & since she didn’t win, it won’t be the 1st time Deville won 4 matches in a row since she won on NXT on May 17, June 21, August 2, & September 15, 17 or the 1st time in her career she won 2 weeks in a row - Alexa Bliss VS Sasha Banks was Banks’ 1st Smackdown since May 8 & her 1st Singles Match since she lost to Lacey Evans on April 24, was Bliss’ 1st Smackdown since April 24 & her 1st Singles Match since she defeated Asuka on Smackdown on March 27, & was the 12th 1-on-1 Match between Bliss & Banks in their career, with their 1st match taking place on NXT on June 9, 2014, which was won by Bliss, & their last match prior to Smackdown taking place on Raw on September 30, 2019, which was won by Banks, so now in their 12 matches Bliss has won 3 times & Banks has won 9 times, the 2nd week in a row Smackdown had 2 Women’s Matches, & was the 550th Match on TV & PPV in WWE, NXT, NXT UK, & 205 Live in 2020, & was Banks’ 1st win since she & Bayley defeated Bliss & Nikki Cross on Smackdown on March 13, & her 1st Singles win since she defeated Nikki Cross on Smackdown on November 8, 2019 - Shorty G VS Cesaro was the 1st time since Naomi & Bayley on February 28 that someone wrestled twice on Smackdown, was G’s 1st Singles Match since he lost to Sheamus on Smackdown on January 31, the 1st ever 1-on-1 Match between them, & was G’s 1st win since he defeated Dash Wilder on Smackdown on January 3 - Daniel Bryan VS Sheamus was Bryan’s 1st Smackdown since May 15 & 1st main event since May 8, was Sheamus’ 2nd week in a row in the Smackdown main event, he was the 1st time that multiple people wrestled multiple times on Smackdown in 2020, & was the 17th 1-on-1 Match between them, with their 1st match taking place on Raw on October 4, 2010, which was won by Bryan by Disqualification, & their last match prior to Smackdown taking place on Smackdown on April 2, 2015, which was won by Sheamus by Count Out, so now in their 17th matches, Bryan has won 4, Sheamus has won 11, & 1 match ended in a No Contest - This was the 1st Smackdown since March 6 to not have a Tag Team Match
Here are the Facts & Stats for 205 Live: - Tyler Breeze VS Tony Nese was the 1st time since January 17, 24, & 31 that Breeze wrestled 3 weeks in a row on 205 Live, was his 1st opener since May 15, & the 1st wrestler since Isaiah Scott on March 20 & March 27 to go from the 205 Live main event to the following week’s opener, & was Nese’s 1st 205 Live since May 15 & his 1st opener since April 10, was the 2nd match against each other, as Nese defeated Breeze on 205 Live on January 10 & was Nese’s 1st win since he defeated Danny Burch on April 10 - Danny Burch VS Tehuti Miles was the 5th straight month that Burch wrestled 2 weeks in a row on 205 Live & his 1st Singles Match since he lost to Tony Nese on April 10, & his 1st main event since March 13, making him the 1st since Isaiah Scott & Oney Lorcan on March 13 & March 20 to go from the 205 Live opener to the following week’s main event, & was Miles’ 1st 205 Live match since May 15, & his 1st main event, & was Miles’ 1st ever win of his career

Lol I can't believe WWE would expect their audience to get this reference. The median viewer age of Smackdown is like 54, I’m sure they’ll get it There are also a lot of moments that are just timeless and will be referenced until the end times, which based on current patterns should be sometime next month. Fast Times isn't some obscure movie and that moment has been referenced and spoofed dozens of times so people will get it

It’s kinda hit that point where a lot of people recognize it for being a reference, without actually knowing what it’s referencing.
