I'm certain there have been a couple of examples, but outside of a word or such that snuck through the live airing getting muted/censored, has WWE ever completely edited something out of their west coast feed that aired on the east coast feed?

Nothing that I can personally recall. Any edits I can think of are more for the Canadian or overseas feeds. In truth, I don't even think language has been censored. Like when Corey yelled "HOLY SHIT!" when Braun, or someone, went through the LED boards on the stage, that got through on the west coast feed.

Oh man, imagine if they tried that Live and not during a pandemic where there’s nothing else to watch the networks are desperate ?
Over here, the show abruptly went to commercial in the middle of Jeff’s promo and they came back where Sheamus is washing his face and gagging

That's because they were intentionally trying to be edgy, not because Corey slipped up. They wanted everyone to hear that "holy shit" and think the Attitude Era was back or something. Much like a lot of fans, they think we want "edgy and shocking" when what we really want is just good writing.

What did they edit out of the west coast feed? Jeff throwing the cup of piss on top of Sheamus. It basically cut to a commercial in the west coast broadcast.

Did they ever edit out the Muhammad Hassan “terrorist” angle from Smackdown on the West Coast rerun?

Did they ever edit out the Muhammad Hassan “terrorist” angle from Smackdown on the West Coast rerun? No, that went out unedited. That show was taped days earlier so them showing it uncut for the east coast and cutting it out for the west coast wouldn't make a ton of sense. All they did was put a disclaimer on at the front of the episode.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I don't think the Benoit tribute aired on the West Coast. I think they saw the best of WWE show that is on the Network for the date.

Any have a gif of the slow motion piss throw from the video package tonight?
I wonder if anyone called the CDC on them... that couldn’t have been safe in the middle of a pandemic.

Throwing fake pee on someone is considered too edgy for TV?
Have they SEEN what kind of shows air on TV? Lmfao.

It may have been the Network's call and not theirs. The east coast broadcast was censored very poorly and I actually wondered if it was the national censor or just someone at my local Fox affiliate censoring it. Then I heard about the spot being completely absent from the west coast feed and realized it wasn't just on my TV. My guess is they did it since it's very similar to things they had done in the past and Fox was like "uh, what the hell are you doing? this is prime time network TV." also "piss" in that context is still one of the "seven dirty words."
