They should open with a disclaimer outing their predators by name, stating that none of those wrestlers will ever appear again. Think about it, only the internet fans really know this stuff. His shame should be on the public stage. “Tonight’s episode of NXT features a segment with Patrick Clark, who wrestled under the name Velveteen Dream. Due to recent allegations that have appeared regarding Mr. Clark, we have decided to release him from the company. There is no excuse for the type of predatory behavior that Mr. Clark has demonstrated. If you are a survivor of sexual assault and need someone to talk to, call 1-800-656-HOPE. WWE will donate $800,000 to RAINN in support of services that help sexual assault victims find hope.” That's exactly it.

Dexter Lumis’ character looks like a ray of sunshine and a good dude to hang out and have a Bloody Mary with compared to the wrestlers we’ve been reading about the past few days. The only thing Dexter Lumis wants to show you is his art.

Just have Lumis disposing of what is highly implied body of Dream.
Also, the fact that Dream wore Strong's son on his pants just became 100x worse.

So in the first allegations, wasn't he doing this shit idiotically, publicly?

So in the first allegations, wasn't he doing this shit idiotically, publicly? First allegations seemed like they'd be so completely idiotic for any public figure to take that plenty of us assumed "yeah, maybe a hoax." This is a different beast.

Going into 2020 the most problematic wrestler in the industry was Lars Sullivan, internet troll. How I wish we could go back in time to only just a week ago. His "Internet trolling" consisted of racist, sexist and homophobic postings, so he can remain in f*** Off Forever Club as well.

IIRC and I could be wrong, so please correct me if I am. In the first allegation, Dream had said that WWE was aware and their lawyers were investigating. I would find it hard to believe (but definitely not out to of the question) that they wouldn’t already know about these if the lawyers did what they needed to do. If it’s true, Dream is gone. And possibly to jail. Or at least on some sort of list. If it’s all a false attack on Dream, he’s been smeared with this now and it’s going to stick. It all depends on what WWE's lawyers were investigating. If they were actually investigating the validity of any of the claims against him, then yeah - they may have already known about these. If they were just investigating the specific claim and, more to the point, the claimant to try and find if THEY were a credible source of accusation, this could be a second broadside attack.

It might sound like a conspiracy theory but I think the gay porn thing extended his employment. They don't want to fire him because they're worried if they do he'll say it's because of the porn. They're probably just waiting for everyone to forget before they do let him go.

On the other hand, Zahra Schreiber was fired from NXT for having Nazi paraphernalia on her social media, and Jessicka Havok had her tryout cancelled because she said the n-word on Twitter. There's a precedent for these things happening. WWE just has a bad history of selectively enforcing their own rules when they want to keep someone around.

It really just depends on the equation of 'amount of bad publicity' divided by 'how much value we think this person has to us'. I wouldn't be surprised if Vince, Triple H and co are currently busy trying to figure out how they can just ignore all this stuff and keep Dream in the company. God knows what's going to happen the next time Velveteen Dream appears in front of fans who are expected to follow the WWE script.

The reality is that wrestling exists just outside of major news so unless something unbelievable happens(Benoit) the major news isn’t aware. I would love for someone to tip off sponsors and mainstream news about all of these allegations. Until a sponsor or network threatens them the WWE isn’t going to do jackshit.

He's one of Triple H's favourites, so I think he's covering for him as Dolph's brother said.

I wish they used another word instead of 'grooming'.
I see that word and I think Dream being accused of trimming dog hair. However, it's explicitly in his WWE contract that he cannot do this because Triple H made sure that clause was put in there. So Dream is being forced to work underground and wrestling fans with Cocker Spaniels have identified his trademark poofy-tail style on all their animals.
