I can only be mad about WWE specifically being so reckless with its lack of precautions until it was too late. Society as a whole is f***ing up in its response to this pandemic and WWE's only part of the crowd there. I chiefly blame Florida, et al for enabling all this crap to begin with.
Given his associations with the current administration, and role as an advisor on the committee for "reopening the economy", I think it's fair to say Vince McMahon is more than part of the crowd.

In a related issue, Ryan Satin of Pro Wrestling Sheet reported that multiple people -- including in-ring talent -- at WWE that were at this past tapings in Orlando had tested positive. Multiple sources in WWE have confirmed that as accurate although WWE has not officially said anything nor released any names. Satin used the number as three or more. We were only told multiple people which included in-ring talent. This does affect at least one person if not more scheduled for the tapings on Friday and Saturday in Orlando for two weeks of Raw and SmackDown, which at this point are not canceled. One WWE talent noted that they were told COVID-19 testing will now take place at every taping and that "we're expected to isolate," and stay in their rooms or homes at this point. One person said that they have been told they will be tested twice this week. Those in Orlando today were given a two-hour heads up for a mandatory test. www.f4wonline.com/wwe-news/multiple-people-wwe-test-positive-covid-19-314076

I wonder if all this attention will finally get them to shut down for a while. Hmm, let's check back in on the Tony-Schiavone-on-the-1/17/2001-episode-of-Thunder-o-meter: ![THEY WON'T STOP UNTIL SOMEBODY DIES!](https://66.media.tumblr.com/3261e71a2f2d25fce3ecd88fb81125db/ea856e4e12c09afa-da/s1280x1920/8220fb599f5e15efd883c109539be631836a2177.jpg) Has an on-screen talent or one of their immediate family members died yet? Nope? Ok, full-steam ahead: they're not stopping until the tapings are the direct cause of #covidbenoit-ing a wrestler and a few family members.

You guys remember the Simpsons episode where Sideshow Bob steals the nuclear bomb and demands that Springfield eliminates television? Vince McMahon is basically Krusty. He'll use the Emergency Broadcast signal located inside the shack at Alkaline Flats. Drew McIntyre is Professor Gascan. And Angel Garza is the picture of Dwight D. Eisenhower. Any chance of a Wrestletaint.gov breaking news audio about this news? As you know, the government has had to make some budget cuts since the recession and Wrestletaint.gov was, as always, the first to feel the wrath. Right now, it is currently run by two literal monkeys named Waldo and Sir Augustus Winchester that are learning how to operate a computer. Let's be honest though. Flinging shit on the walls is very on brand for Wrestletaint.gov seeing as most of their rumors are basically that.

Honestly society as a whole has been pretty lax with the coronavirus and in a lot of ways I can’t blame them. It’s been 3 months, people have to make their money, we can’t just stay on lockdown forever. Other sports are reopening next month. Sure implement more intense testing but saying shut down wrestling till 2021 is pretty much saying f*** pro wrestler’s wallets. If people feel comfortable performing, let them

If people feel comfortable performing, let them It isn't just about them. These people are traveling back and forth across the country and with that comes putting not only themselves and their families but anyone they come across in the process of traveling - people on planes, folks at gas stations, whatever - in danger of catching something from them. Whether or not you're willing to take the personal risk shouldn't have any bearing on if you're allowed to endanger other people.

I think above all the WWE are terrified that if they stop running shows, the audience will realise they haven't been enjoying the product for years and won't return when they do. They have no plan to regain lost fans or make new onnes, they just hope if they keep runnning they'll slow the churn rate and cycle back around to relevancy by default.

Hey, I guess they could always make a deal with Al Snow to use OVW's Davis Arena. KY had 222 cases today (1 death) but that's a far cry from the 5,511 that FL had today.

I don’t get how people don’t f***ing understand this Most infected people infect like 6 other people.

That would be the most self awareness they’ve shown in over a decade, lol.

That, or they are required to produce a certain amount of NEW content every week by the networks. That's something people seem to overlook. Network executives are as cutthroat as Vince, if not moreso. Especially FOX who will cancel shows on a whim.

I'd rather the entire wrestling industry go under than one single person die from this.

Shit they probably just have wrestlers commentate over old matches from there own homes and count it as new content

Trust me, we’d survive without WWE. Stop f***ing filming, you idiots. I've stopped watching the weekly shows and have survived. I think others can as well.

If I was Seth I’d be telling WWE I’ll see you later in the year given Becky is pregnant.
